Kris Foster, known for her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, has been subjected to various rumors and unfounded accusations concerning her alleged drug addiction. In a recent social media post, Kris took the opportunity to set the record straight, vehemently denying any truth to these claims.
Kris— who starred on this season with her now-estranged Colombian wife Jeymi Noguera— responded after a fan told her that people were calling Kris a drug user in the comment section of one of Jeymi’s Instagram posts.
Foster was eager to address the rumors head-on, taking to Instagram with some fiery responses.
A follower commented on a social media post by Kris, writing, “There’s a bunch of people over in Jeymi’s posts talking about you being an addict. Any response to that?”
Kris fired back, “People can talk all they want. They don’t know the first thing about me they only know how the TV want[s] them to portray me. I ain’t sweating anything that people say.. If you knew me you would know I’ve had more than a dozen people put in jail for breaking into my home, all addicted. I’ve buried most of my friends from school [because they were] drug addicts. I was beaten as a child by a drug addict.”
In response to another comment, Foster explained, “How many addicts have two homes, car, motorcycle, three jobs, kids with cars– one with a college degree? I’ve always worked really hard to help my kids have a better life and opportunities I didn’t have. If I were this big addict I sure as heck wouldn’t be where I am today.”
She added that she’s in the process of, “spending the money I make from [‘The Other Way’] to start a charity to travel the country helping families in need.”
The rumors first kicked into high gear during this season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, when Kris told Jeymi she had to return to the US shortly after she moved to Colombia because she needed to get a medication she said she couldn’t get in Colombia. Kris said this medication was for one of her long list of medical issues, but fans were skeptical of Kris’ explanation.
Things got worse for Foster when her son, Dayne Warren, was arrested in April 2022. Warren was charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance.
But so far, rumors about Kris’ drug use seem to be just that – rumors.
In the realm of reality television, rumors and speculation can quickly damage a person’s reputation. Foster, during her time as a cast member of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, faced false accusations of drug addiction. On social media, Kris courageously addressed these allegations, sharing her personal struggles. It is crucial to remember that reality TV personas do not define the entirety of an individual’s life, and it is our responsibility to approach their stories with kindness and understanding.
