After the Queen's Death

When Queen Elizabeth II passed away, one royal got an immediate name change that seemed obvious.

Prince Charles became King Charles III, ending seven decades of a matriarch monarchy in the UK.

But other royals got the name shuffle too, and where they landed is interesting to say the least. Here's what some of our royal family faves will now be called.

Prince – Excuse Us, King – Charles

Prince Charles was born back in the day on November 14th, 1948, in Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s first main residence. After his coronation, he is now fully in charge of the 56-member Commonwealth along with the British Armed Forces with the judiciary and civil services. He will now also become the head of the Supreme Governor of the Church of England. The first King Charles was the King of England and the King of Scotland and the second King Charles was the King of Great Britain and Ireland back in the day until he passed away and passed the throne.

Camilla Parker Bowles

Bowles is the wife of Prince Charles, now recognized as King Charles III. During the Queen’s dynasty, she was the Duchess of Cornwall. As Prince Charles takes the throne, Bowles will become the Queen Consort. Although the relationship between the Queen and the Duchess was not the greatest, the Queen had announced back in February of this year that Camilla would be the Queen Consort as Charles takes over the crown. The difference between being the Queen and Queen Consort is that they do not get any type of responsibilities over military or political obligations.

William and Kate

Previously being known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton will now be named as the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, which was the title earlier held by Prince Charles and wife Camilla. There is said to be a good possibility that they will become the Prince and Princess of Wales but that is only if the King grants the honor if he so wishes to. With all of this coming about, Prince William is next in line to the throne.

The Children of William and Kate

Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte are the children of the Prince and Princess. Their first born, George, will become Prince of Cornwall and Cambridge along for the same for their second boy, Louis. Princess Charlotte will now be the Princess of Cornwall and Cambridge as well.

Harry and Meghan

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle became of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they married one another back in the year 2018. The couple soon stepped down from their royalties but are still required to have the title and will remain so with King Charles on the throne.

Harry and Meghan’s Children

Because of them stepping down, their children Archie and Lillibet were born without a royal title. It is up to King Charles to give them a royal title if he decides so.
