Ariana Grande And Dalton Gomez Got Married In Her Backyard
According to E! News, the couple exchanged their vows in the backyard of Grande’s Montecito home, surrounded by hundreds of white florals.
“It was beautiful but not over the top,” an insider spilled. “Ari wanted it to be simplistic and tasteful. All they cared about was having family there and to be able to enjoy the special moment together.”
As for why they chose to have the wedding their, a second source told People Magazine, “Both Ari and Dalton love Montecito. They spend a lot of time there. It seems only natural that they would get married at Ari’s beautiful and historic house.”
They Kept The Guest List Very Small
As for the guest list, Grande and Gomez actually kept it pretty low-key. It turns out, only their family members and close friends were there.
“They got married. It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love,” the “Dangerous Woman” songstress’ rep confirmed to People Magazine. “The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
TMZ reported that there was no real “ceremony” and that they said their “I dos” in an informal way. Plus, a source revealed to E! that each of their family members made a “special toast” to the couple during dinner, adding that “it was an emotional day.”
As for how their family feels about it, a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Grande’s mom and brother were super supportive of their marriage.
“Ariana’s brother Frankie [Grande] and her mom [Joan Grande] are so happy for her,” a source said. “They think Dalton really balances Ariana out and allows her to be her true self. Ariana appreciates that Dalton accepts her and loves her for who she is. He’s a little nerdy and hardworking and she loves that about him. He’s also very protective over her and goes above and beyond to make her happy.”
They Decided To Get Married Now Because The World Is Opening Back Up Again
E! reported that the singer and the real estate agent — who were first linked in February 2020 — were going to tie the knot this summer, but decided to get married now because the world was opening up again, which meant that their schedules were starting to fill up.
“They always wanted an intimate ceremony,” a source told them. “They decided to have the wedding this past weekend because their schedules are picking up and neither wanted to wait. They both agreed there was no point in waiting.”
And they took extra precautions to make sure the event was private.
“The couple wanted the ceremony to be private and took precautions to make sure that happened,” a friend of the couple’s explained to ET. “The ceremony started in the afternoon and went into the night.”
The Ring Was Very Special
Ready to have your hearts burst? According to People, Gomez actually designed the wedding ring especially for Gomez — how cute is that?! He reportedly worked with worked with jeweler Jack Solow on the custom diamond band.
“It’s a beautiful, tasteful platinum and diamond pave band,” a spokesperson for the jeweler said. “Dalton was very happy with it.”
He also teamed up with Solow for Grande’s engagement ring, which was contained a stunning pearl (which fans believe belonged to her late grandfather).
“Dalton was involved in every step of the selection process through FaceTime and Zoom since he was on the west coast and I was here in my office in New York,” Solow explained back in December. “He was very, very specific about what he wanted. He had very strong feelings about how he wanted this to look, a contemporary kind of way. It was his idea to do the diamond on an angle and he said to me we had to incorporate a pearl into the finished piece.”
They Got Engaged Back In December
The former Nickelodeon star first announced that she was engaged to Gomez back in December 2020, writing on Instagram, “Forever ‘n then some.”

So who exactly is Grande’s new husband, you ask? Well, he actually works at Aaron Kirman Group as a luxury home realtor. He was raised in Southern California and is currently 25 years old. As for how they met, they reportedly got close after she hired his company to help her find a house.
“When she saw him, she immediately thought he was cute and very good-looking, and she asked her team to set up an in-person meeting with him,” a source previously told Us Weekly. “Ariana fell very hard for Dalton shortly after they met.”
Rumors of their relationship first started to swirl in February 2020 after TMZ obtained pics of them kissing in a bar. Sources told People Magazine at the time that the pair had already been together for a month before that, and that they were quarantining together.
