It’s official, you guys, Billie Eilish‘s second studio album is almost here! Yep, that’s right, the singer recently spilled all the tea on what fans can expect from her new music, and we’re seriously freaking out about it.

So wait, when are her upcoming tunes going to come out? What will they be about? And what else do we know about her next LP? Not to worry, you guys, because we rounded it all up for you. From the release date to the track list and so much more, here’s everything we know so far about Eilish’s new album.

Billie Eilish First Confirmed That She Had A New Album In The Works Earlier This Year

Back in May 2020, the “Bad Guy” songstress shared the exciting news that she had officially started working on her next album! Yep, while chatting with Zane Lowe on his Apple Music radio show, she admitted that she wrote a new song with her brother and producer, Finneas.

“It kind of hit a couple weeks ago, actually. So we’ve been in the studio, which just means Finneas’ basement, basically. We wrote a whole song in its entirety, an entire song, which is kind of rare for us to just write a whole song in one,” she explained. “I really love it. It was exactly what I needed to say when we wrote it. It was like I don’t know. I can’t tell time anymore. But we’ve been doing a lot of stuff. We’re trying to finish this one that I’m not going to say. Yeah, we got some stuff coming.”

Fans Can Expect Her Upcoming Album To Be Very Different

So unfortunately, Eilish’s second album doesn’t have an official name or release date just yet, but she did reveal during a recent interview that it’s going to be “completely different” from the music we’re used to from her. The musician explained that because of the coronavirus quarantine, it changed many things about the music and its sound.

“I mean, we would have made something, but it would have been completely different [if we weren’t in quarantine]. It’s not like we’re making songs about quarantine, we’re just in a different mindset than we would be otherwise,” she explained. “And that’s just how everything is. It’s the butterfly effect. It’s like if you hadn’t done this three years ago, maybe you wouldn’t be doing this three years later. It’s just the way that it is. At the same time, this is the most time off I’ve ever had in my life, first of all. And especially since this all started like five years ago. So it’s been a blessing, huge blessing and a curse, but I’m really, really happy that we’ve been able to make the things that we’re making. And I can’t wait for you to hear this s**t. I can’t wait to have the world hear. I’m very excited and hopeful for the future.”

She’s Already Released Two Songs From It

Eilish released the first song from the album, called “My Future,” in July 2020, and it’s a total bop. Then, her second single. “Therefore I am,” came out on November 12, 2020.

“It feels like me,” she said about the song. “I feel like the rest of [the album] also feel like me, but I think this one is more like — if I think about it from an outside perspective, this one I’d be satisfied if I was a fan.”

What Else Has Billie Eilish Been Up To Recently?

On October 24, 2020, the pop star put on a virtual concert, with proceeds from the show being donated to event crew members affected by the outbreak. She also won three Billboard Music Awards this year, performed at the American Music Awards and was recently nominated for a few Grammy Awards — you go, girl! Plus, in 2020, she became the youngest person to be featured on Forbes‘ annual ranking of the 100 highest-paid celebrities in the world, with earnings of $53 million. Wow!

She Also Clapped Back At Some Body-Shamers

If you’re a fan of Eilish, then you’ve probably already noticed that she rarely ever shows off her body to the public. Well, that’s why fans were pretty shook when the singer was photographed wearing a tight tank top and short on October 12, 2020. And although many fans were proud of her for putting her curves on display, when some people started to body-shame her online, the musician was definitely not happy.

“Do you really wanna go back in time?” she clapped back on Instagram, alongside a screenshot from a previous video she had posted, addressing people who talked about her body.

In the clip (which was originally used as an interlude during her concerts, and was later uploaded to YouTube), Eilish could be seen stripping down as she said, “You have opinions about my opinions, about my music, about my clothes, about my body. Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it. Some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me. But I feel you watching always and nothing I do goes unseen. So while I feel your stares, your disapproval or your sigh of relief, if I lived by them I’d never be able to move. Would you like me to be smaller? Weaker? Softer? Taller? Would you like me to be quiet? Do my shoulder provoke you? Does my chest? Am I my stomach? My hips? The body I was born with is not what you wanted? If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I’m a slut.”

“Though you’ve never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it,” the singer continued in the powerful video. “Why? We make assumptions about people based on their size. We decide who they are, we decide what they’re worth. If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?”

Are There Any Other Albums We Should Be Excited About?

Billie Eilish Eyes

It turns out, this isn’t the only album fans have to look forward to! Yep, Shawn Mendes announced last month that his new album, Wonder, is set to drop on December 4, 2020.

“I think I’ve mainly evolved as a person and that’s kind of reflecting in the music,” he explained to Radio.com about his upcoming tunes. “I think one thing that really kind of happen to me over the last six months is this real moment of reflecting and kind of looking at my own life, but also like being able to look at the world and not be so caught up in my career, my job, and my life, but I’m able to kind of look around see things a lot clearer for the first time.”

He added, “I feel like Wonder is in a lot of ways me just reflecting on my life, and life in general … I’ve never really done that before … probably because I didn’t have the mental capacity and clarity to even be able to reflect, and also probably because I was really scared of what people would think if I started to reflect in my music.”

Plus, Demi Lovato told USA Today recently that she was working on her music.

“I’m in the process of working on [my album]. I’m still going into the studio to write on it today. It took a different direction. Obviously my life has changed a lot. It was a story about everything that had happened, and now it’s kind of evolving into where my life is at today,” the “Sober” songstress explained. “It’s beautiful to have your story to tell and I’m excited to incorporate that into my next project. I don’t have a timeline but I’m working on it.”

Fans are also convinced that Harry Styles has been secretly hard at work on his third studio album! Brace yourselves, people, because we may be getting some new tunes from the One Direction singer very soon. How do we know? Well, he was recently spotted in Bath, England. Now, it’s still unclear what he was doing there, but some fans were quick to point out that his last LP, Fine Line, was recorded at a studio right near Bath. Coincidence? We hope not.
