Arguably, Black Friday is everyone’s favorite shopping day of the year. Obviously, the crowds are a hassle but the deals are worth it. And, going in with a plan typically helps ease the stress. With that being said, you must know what it is that you’re even looking for and what deals are available. Check out what items are already on sale and what you can expect to cut costs on during Black Friday 2022.

Timing is Everything

Nothing compares to the rollercoaster ride of Black Friday – waiting in line to enter a store, walking into a shop at just the right moment to catch a good deal, and of course the joy of saving so much money.

And, although the day itself is filled with deals, you actually can begin shopping for deals as early as the start of fall according to Jessica Teich, deputy editor at the Good Housekeeping Institute. She states, “Since 2020, Black Friday and Cyber Monday savings have been kicking off as early as October in an attempt to prevent supply chain issues and shipping delays.” Adding in, “Last year’s day-of Black Friday deals were no less impressive than the markdowns in the weeks leading up to the event, so start deal-hunting by October.”

“You can find Black Friday deals essentially everywhere, from locally owned shops to large box retailers like Amazon, Target, and Walmart to home stores like Wayfair, tech staples including Best Buy and, of course, clothing retailers like Nordstrom and Macy’s,” says Teich.
