Casa Dragones Teams up with Martha Stewart and Baccarat for Dreamy 'Martha-Rita' for New Glassware Line

Premium sipping tequila Casa Dragones is one of the most beloved brands in the world. Created and run by a woman, Bertha González Nieves, Casa Dragones is a unicorn in the industry – and growing by the year.

Casa Dragones is known not just for its extraordinary, smooth, top-of-the-industry tequila – but for collaborating with some fantastic brands to give fans something unique to enjoy.

This time, Casa Dragones is teaming up with the dynamic duo of design and cuisine guru Martha Stewart and fine glassware brand Baccarat. Stewart recently released a signature line of glassware with Baccarat, and it's all to hold her favorite drink – the Martha-rita – which is created with the best in the business, Casa Dragones tequila.

Martha + Baccarat + Casa Dragones? Dream Team

In 1997, Martha Stewart expanded her property in Seal Harbor, Maine, with the purchase of an estate known as Skylands. A breathtaking and elegant property, the estate came with a secret gem; enough Baccarat glassware to seat 50.

The Baccarat collection Stewart inherited with the property belongs to the line known as Nancy. And while of course the quality is excellent – there's no finer glassware than Baccarat – Stewart wanted to put her own stamp on this extraordinary brand.

So Stewart teamed up with Baccarat to release her own line of glassware, aptly known as the Martha. The Martha line is an updated version of the Nancy – and it's all designed with Stewart's favorite drink in mind, the Martha-rita. And that drink is created with – what else – Casa Dragones' fine bold flavors.

Stewart shared her thoughts in a statement, "I am a longtime admirer of Baccarat’s exquisite crystalware, so it is such an honor to partner with this distinguished brand on The Martha collection. I look forward to not only sharing these elegant designs with consumers, but also to enjoying the beautiful crystal myself. I am particularly proud of the Martha-rita goblets, which are best filled with Martha-ritas made with Casa Dragones Blanco."

Baccarat clearly feels the same, as evidenced by this statement from Jim Shreve, President and CEO of Baccarat North America, "At Baccarat, we believe in collaborating, and we are always looking to align with brands that are best in class. The legacy that Martha Stewart has created is the definition of excellence, and Baccarat is proud to partner with her to create a collection that will remain timeless and that will be enjoyed for generations to come. It is a wonderful way for people to discover how everything–especially the Martha-rita–tastes better in Baccarat."

Casa Dragones' CEO and founder Nieves co-hosted a Cinco de Mayo event with Shreve and Stewart at Stewart's farm in Katonah. Guests strolled the perfectly manicured lawn and sipped delicious pomegranate Martha-ritas while enjoying Mexican fare.

Wondering what all the hype is about the Martha-rita? Worry no more – Casa Dragones is sharing the recipe so you too can enjoy your own and feel like Skylands royalty.

  • Casa Dragones and Disney? You Bet

Casa Dragones has been busy this year with one excellent collaboration after another.

In March, they collaborated with former Victoria's Secret Angel Lily Aldridge and Disney's Epcot, for a good cause.

Epcot's La Cava del Tequila offered a signature Lily Margarita made with Casa Dragones, and part of the proceeds from each margarita went to Women for Women International.

CELEB shared this extraordinary team-up in March and writes of Women for Women, "Women for Women International has spent the last 25 years working on the frontlines of the world’s needs to help women who are forgotten, those who have survived war or conflict. They work with a number of organizations, including Casa Dragones and Disney’s Epcot, to maximize their outreach and provide resources for those they serve. In the organization’s mission statement, they explain that much of what they do is teaching skills and helping women rebuild their families and communities as the pillar of a recovering community.

Women for Women explains, 'In our Stronger Women, Stronger Nations Program, a woman breaks the isolation of war and conflict by joining a small group of women like her. Together, they learn to save, build businesses, understand their rights, improve their health, and change societal rules. They have the power to transform our world.

For over 25 years, Women for Women International has used an integrated approach to go beyond charity to innovation: We are a learning organization that listens to data, our teams on-the-ground, and women themselves to constantly evolve and improve the way we work.'”

Once again, Casa Dragones is at the heart of something spectacular – and the Martha-rita is the perfect sip to take you into the warm breezes of Summer.
