Women for Women International is an on-the-ground organization that helps women in vulnerable situations around the world. With crises and war impacts around the world mounting, they’re working harder than ever these days. They’ve teamed up with former Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge and premier sipping tequila Casa Dragones to raise money for the organization, giving fans of the tequila a chance to do some good while sipping their favorite at Disney World’s Epcot.

Lily Margarita at La Cava – A Drink With a Purpose

With the help of Aldridge, La Cava del Tequila is offering the Lily Margarita. Made in partnership with woman-owned and operated Casa Dragones, it’s the perfect way to make sure your money is getting somewhere useful – while relaxing at Epcot. Each Lily Margarita costs $25 and $5 of each purchase goes directly to Women for Women International.

The Lily Margarita contains:

  • Casa Dragones Blanco
  • violet essence infusion
  • rose petal liqueur
  • cranberry
  • lime juice.

It’s the kind of Summer flavor we’ve all been longing to during the Winter that hasn’t seemed to want to end. And with women around the world in greater need than ever, this is the perfect time to plan your tour of Epcot and donate to a good cause.

Founder of premiere sipping tequila Casa Dragones, Bertha González Nieves, said of the collab in a statement, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Lily Aldridge, a longtime fan and friend of our tequila, for The Lily Margarita, a special cocktail only offered at La Cava Del Tequila, one of our most popular tequila-sipping destinations. Casa Dragones has always been community-driven and with this partnership, we’re bringing friends, collaborators and tequila lovers into our circle to help support Women for Women International.”

Aldridge too was excited for the opportunity to create something that would help real women in crisis across the globe. Of the partnership with Casa Dragones and La Cava del Tequila, Aldridge shared in a statement, “I am excited to partner with Casa Dragones Tequila and my friend Bertha González Nieves for The Lily Margarita at La Cava Del Tequila in Epcot, a place I always love visiting. Now more than ever, giving back is essential and I’m proud to support Casa Dragones in helping Women for Women International.”

The model and mother of one also posted on Instagram about the project, writing “What a DREAM to have the Lily Margarita on the Menu at my fave place in the world @lacavadeltequila featuring my fave @casadragones So much fun to celebrate with my friends & launch this cocktail that I hope everyone enjoys as much as I enjoyed creating & taste testing again & again & again Love & Thank you @berthagonzalezn @javivillegas @marialauraoz @artofdrinknyc.”

Aldridge first got her start in modeling at age 16, debuting in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit edition for the first time in 2014. Her debut on the cover included Chrissy Teigen and Nina Adgal. Since then, she’s returned to SI twice and has a robust career in modeling – even appearing in music videos for Taylor Swift, Limp Bizkit and Kings of Leon. The frontman of Kings of Leon – Caleb Followil – is Aldridge’s husband.

Anything the 36-year-old is involved with is likely to turn to gold, and the involvement with Casa Dragones and Women for Women International could bring much attention and hope to the organization as they work overtime to help those in need.

Women for Women International

Women for Women International has spent the last 25 years working on the frontlines of the world’s needs to help women who are forgotten, those who have survived war or conflict. They work with a number of organizations, including Casa Dragones and Disney’s Epcot, to maximize their outreach and provide resources for those they serve. In the organization’s mission statement, they explain that much of what they do is teaching skills and helping women rebuild their families and communities as the pillar of a recovering community.

Women for Women explains, “In our Stronger Women, Stronger Nations Program, a woman breaks the isolation of war and conflict by joining a small group of women like her. Together, they learn to save, build businesses, understand their rights, improve their health, and change societal rules. They have the power to transform our world.

For over 25 years, Women for Women International has used an integrated approach to go beyond charity to innovation: We are a learning organization that listens to data, our teams on-the-ground, and women themselves to constantly evolve and improve the way we work.”
