It’s been a long time since fans have been graced with a new installment in the “Indiana Jones” film series.

15 years, to be precise. And the last film was met with some mixed reviews.

But regardless of the popularity of the “Crystal Skull,” the series has surged back to life – with lead actor Harrison Ford still at the helm.

Several of the film’s biggest cast members flew to Europe to walk the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival yesterday, and it made for an extraordinary night. Both for fans of the film franchise, and people who don’t know they are fans yet.

Because, let’s face it, you can’t watch “Indiana Jones” without falling in love.

Here’s a peek at the cast as they took to the red carpet, and we have to say – Ford still looks like the dashing leading man at 80, proving that 80 really is the new 45.

Here’s what the cast looked like for their big red carpet night at Cannes yesterday:

Mads Mikkelsen beamed at fans and press as he walked the carpet in a slick suit.

All in all, it was a great chance for the cast to get out and about together and enjoy more of the love of their fans as they anticipate the arrival of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.”

The official film synopsis of the upcoming film reads, “daredevil archaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary dial that can change the course of history. Accompanied by his goddaughter, he soon finds himself squaring off against Jürgen Voller, a former Nazi who works for NASA.”

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will hit theaters on June 30.
