With fall fast approaching we can't blame you for being outside and enjoying life before the days become short and the temps start to fall. No matter what you spent your weekend doing there is no doubt a few juicy headlines missed your timeline this past weekend. Here is a look at some celeb news you may have missed.
VMA’s
MTV’s Video Music Awards aired on Sunday night from the Prudential Center in Newark and saw more jaw dropping moments than in years past.
Here are but a few of the big moments you missed from this year's VMA’s.
Taylor Swift won video of the year for her 10 minute “All Too Well” video. During her acceptance speech she revealed a new album called “Midnights.” The new album will drop on October 21 and is "A collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams." That is how Swift described it on Instagram.
Reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny became the first Latin artist to win the coveted “Artist of the Year.” Bad Bunny performed live at the VMA’s but not from the Prudential Center. Instead, the VMA’s did a live remote to his show at Yankee Stadium.
Harry Styles did a similar acceptance for his win for album of the year. He accepted the VMA for his “Harry’s House” album from Madison Square Garden where he is performing two weeks of shows.
Johnny Depp also managed to make a brief, out-of-this-world appearance. The actor popped up digitally over the face of the VMA trophy that is in the shape of an astronaut. Depp spoke briefly saying, “I needed the work.” Adding, "I just want you to know that I am available for birthdays, bar mitzvah's, bah mitzvah's, weddings, wakes, any 'ol thing you need."
Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” took home the VMA in the “Video for Good” category. In her acceptance speech she said, “I don’t know what ‘video for good’ means, but I know what your vote means. Your vote means everything.” She continued, “to the bit*hes that got something to say about me in the press,” seemingly referring to Aries Spears’ fat-shaming comments that recently went viral, “You know what, I’m not gonna say nothing. They be like, ‘Lizzo, why don’t you clap back?’ Cause bit*h, I’m winning ho.”
Haddish Has it “Her Way”
Tiffany Haddish definitely had it bad this weekend in Las Vegas. The comedian/actress took in Usher’s “My Way” Residency at the Park MGM. Haddish posted video of the concert from her vantage point on the floor
Soon the Easter Sunday actress was onstage with Usher in a performance that had the pair bumping and grinding for the crowd to the song “Rock Wit'cha” by Bobby Brown.
Usher also took Haddish to a sit down table onstage and gave her a solo performance. Not surprisingly she had a smile bright enough to light up the south side of the strip.

Tom Brady
"I'm 45 years old, man. There's a lot of sh*t going on, so you just have to try and figure out life the best you can. You know, it's a continuous process.” That is what Quarterback Tom Brady said while addressing on Saturday .
Brady made headlines earlier this month when he and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced he would be taking time off for personal reasons during the preseason.
Speculation for the time off varied from spending some quality time with wife Gisele Bündchen in the Bahamas at an exclusive resort to actually taking time off in order to film episodes for the FOX show “The Masked Singer.” The ladder rumor prompted Brady to address it on his social media.

"Wasn't on the Masked Singer last week. Was wearing a mask though." The comment was tweeted out along with a video promoting his new apparel brand, Brady.
The seven-time winning Super Bowl QB returned to the field with his Bucs on Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts. Brady led the Bucs to a field goal in the only drive he appeared in for the game. The Colts would come away with a win of 27-10.
Aaron Rodgers
Brady wasn’t the only QB to set the record straight over the weekend. Aaron Rogers also made headlines after a visit to “The Joe Rogan Experience.” In the three hour podcast Rogers set the record straight about his Covid-19 vaccine controversy last year.
Rogers spoke in great detail about his perspective and reasoning for not being vaccinated at the time it all went down. Rogers explains that he was allergic to an ingredient (polyethylene glycol) that was reportedly in the vaccine. He then goes on to explain that the only vaccine that did not have that ingredient was the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. However, that became unavailable to Rogers when it was discovered it caused blood clots in some patients. Rogers told Rogan that everyone on the team and in the front office was well aware of his vaccination status.
Rogers, when asked by team officials, reported that he was “immunized” and didn’t specifically say “vaccinated.” Rogers awaited a follow-up question for the team on what “immunized” meant. When there was none, he left the matter alone.
Rogers explained to Rogan that he was given small doses of the virus in an oral form and that it essentially was the same as being vaccinated.
Rogers did end up contracting Covid – he says from an already vaccinated player – during the regular season last year. Rogers goes on to say that he was feeling “great” 36 hours after his first symptom.
