So many people are using dating apps like Tinder, Bumble and Hinge in an attempt to find love, and it turns out, so are your favorite celebrities! Yep, tons of stars have either admitted to looking for love online or have been caught swiping right over the years, including Niall Horan, Zac Efron, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas and more!
Most recently, Sam Smith admitted during an interview on Watch What Happens Live that they’ve been using a dating app.
“I’m still single. I’m on the frontline with all the single people still and it’s been difficult … I’ve gone on all the apps and stuff,” the singer revealed. “I took your advice. I joined this dating site called Hinge in the U.K. and they chucked me off of it after one night cause they thought I was a catfish pretending to be me.”

According to PageSix, the former Disney star was spotted on the celebrity dating site Raya. For those who don’t know, Raya is actually an elite platform made for celebrities, and to join it, you have to prove you’re a public figure!
In Lovato’s documentary, Simply Complicated, she revealed that she was using Raya too.
“I am on the dating app with both guys and girls. I am open to human connection, so whether that’s through a male or a female, it doesn’t matter to me,” she explained.
The High School Musical alum told The Times that he tried joining Tinder, but it didn’t work out.
“Amazingly, when I signed up for Tinder, nobody swiped me! They thought [my profile] was fake,” he said.
Imagine how iconic it would be if you came across Jonas on a dating app? Well, according to PageSix, he used Raya in 2016!
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star proudly announced that she was using Raya while speaking to Stylist.co.uk in March 2019.
“Of course. Raya for life. Love it. God bless Raya,” she told them.
“Listen, if we’re talking dating apps, I’m only talking Bumble,” Dobrik previously admitted. “Bumble is my go-to. So let’s leave it at that. But the transition’s tough! Dating apps, it’s a lot to get used to, because you’ve got to be clever, you know?”
Get this — Charles actually matched with Dobrik on Bumble! He posted a screenshot to Twitter, and fans were living for it.
Not only did the Pretty Little Liars actress confirm that she was on Raya while chatting with Cosmopolitan, but she also revealed that she found another big star on there! Drum roll please… She came across John Mayer‘s profile, and totally swiped right.
“I pressed yes for him, but I don’t think he pressed yes for me,” Hale joked.
According to Us Weekly, Tatum was spotted on Raya after he and Jenna Dewan broke up. They reported that his profile read, “And yes, I used to be a stripper. Sorry.”
Mahone told Access that he tried Raya out, but wasn’t a fan.
“I made an account and I had it for, like, a couple days and I was like, ‘Nah, I’m not feeling this let me just take it off,’” the singer revealed.
Duff revealed to Ryan Seacrest back in 2015 that she was using Tinder in an attempt to find love. Now, she’s happily married to Matthew Koma, so maybe that’s how they mey!
Back in 2016, the reality star’s friends set up a profile for her on a dating site called OkCupid.
“I’ve never done online dating before, but just for s**ts and giggles, Malika [Haqq] and I decided to fill one out. It was actually really fun to do,” she wrote on her website.
Lohan revealed via her Instagram Stories that she was using Tinder, and that she actually found her brother’s profile on there! How funny is that?!
“Look who I just found on the @tinderapp … Hey bro,” she wrote, alongside a screenshot.
Perry admitted in 2014 that she was using Tinder. She told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, “I’m really deep on Tinder, so I don’t have a whole lot of time.”
According to Nylon, the Harry Potter actress was spotted on Raya. She never spoke out about it publicly, but we wonder if she made any connections on there!
The Andi Mack star revealed via Twitter that he was using Bumble. He even shared a screenshot of his profile and asked, “Would you swipe right on me?” The tweet has now been taken down.
The Sun reported in May 2020 that the Little Mix singer was using Raya after she and Chris Hughes broke up.
