Close Encounters of the Creepy Kind: Celebs who Claim They’ve had Alien Experiences

What did the alien say to the pop star? That’s not a joke – I seriously want to know.
Last week Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato described their own unique experiences with UFOs and extraterrestrial life forms. With Halloween right around the corner, skeptics will undoubtedly roll their eyes and dismiss the stories as well-timed publicity stunts (Cyrus is releasing a new album and Lovato is hawking an app for alien enthusiasts). Believers will insist that E.T.s do exist and perhaps they’re just huge fans of American pop music. Whatever the truth may be, these stories are like UFOs themselves: they may or may not be real, but you can’t look away.
CELEB breaks down what Miley, Demi, and other famous celebrities have claimed.
Miley Cyrus
At this point, there’s not much that Miley could say or do that would genuinely shock people. We get it girl – you’re not Hannah Montana. So while alien encounter stories are far from the norm, we can totally see this as just another day in Miley’s world. Miley spoke with Interview magazine and detailed the experience:
“I was driving through San Bernardino with my friend, and I got chased down by some sort of UFO. . . I’m pretty sure about what I saw, but I’d also bought weed wax from a guy in a van in front of a taco shop, so it could have been the weed wax. The best way to describe it is a flying snowplow. It had this big plow in the front of it and was glowing yellow. I did see it flying, and my friend saw it, too. There were a couple of other cars on the road and they also stopped to look, so I think what I saw was real.”
Miley then claimed she saw some type of E.T. sitting on the front of the UFO. “It looked at me and we made eye contact, and I think that’s what really shook me, looking into the eyes of something that I couldn’t quite wrap my head around.” Okay, I don’t do drugs but 2020 has been quite the dumpster fire – so if Ms. Cyrus could give me the name of her weed wax/van guy that would be great.
Demi Lovato
Going alien hunting in the desert is definitely one creative option for getting over a bad breakup. Demi recently shared a post on her Instagram detailing her experiences with Dr. Steven Greer, a well-known ufologist (the internet says it’s a word so go with it) and founder of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence. Ms. Lovato posted pics of the night sky and a red light moving erratically amongst the stars. Accompanying the photos was this message:
“The past few days I’ve spent in Joshua Tree with a small group of loved ones and @dr.steven.greer and his CE5 team. Over the past couple months I have dug deep into the science of consciousness and experienced not only peace and serenity like I’ve never known but I also have witnessed the most incredibly profound sightings both in the sky as well as feet away from me. This planet is on a very negative path towards destruction but WE can change that together. If we were to get 1% of the population to meditate and make contact, we would force our governments to acknowledge the truth about extraterrestrial life among us and change our destructive habits destroying our planet. This is just some of the evidence from under the stars in the desert sky that can no longer be ignored and must be shared immediately. To make contact yourself you can download the CE5 app and it will teach you the protocols to connect to life form beyond our planet!! (Ps, if it doesn’t happen on the first try – keep trying – it took me several sessions to tap into a deep enough level of meditation to make contact!) Happy communicating.”
My inner spirit wants to believe what Demi says is true – that we have the power to create positive changes in our world and that the universe is on our side. But then my cynical human self side-eyed my spirit and pointed out that Demi is probably getting paid now for every CE5 app purchased.
Post Malone
In July, famous face-tattooed rapper Post Malone told interviewer Joe Rogan that he’s seen UFOs multiple times. He spilled the details on Rogan’s podcast: “I was probably 16. I was in upstate New York. My aunt and uncle were very strict, and we had to go to bed at very strict deadline — probably 10 p.m. I was looking out the window with my cousin and it’s just a light that just stays there and then just f****ing goes off … I mean, it just, whoosh. You can’t explain it.” Malone claimed that he’s seen more UFOs since his first encounter and has multiple witnesses to back up his story. The rapper also admitted to Rogan that he was high on mushrooms during the interview though, so…there’s that.
Kesha
Free-spirited and fun Kesha believes in aliens? No shocker there! While promoting Rainbow in 2017, the blonde singer explained why she chose to feature UFOs for the album cover’s artwork. Kesha revealed on the Zach Sang Show, “I was in Joshua Tree, totally sober. . . I think people would be like, ‘she was on acid’ or something. I wasn’t. I was on nothing. I was a totally sober Sally, just a lady in the desert. I look up in the sky and there’s a bunch of spaceships. I swear to God, there were like five to seven, and I don’t know why I didn’t like try to take a picture of it – I just looked at it. I was sitting on a rock, and I was like, ‘what in the hell is that?’ I was trying to figure it out, and then they went away. And then they came back.” Kesha went on to say that the mysterious objects realigned “in a different formation” and she immediately knew she was witnessing alien activity. If this really did happen, Kesha could be holding out on us about what happened next. A human/alien jam session in the desert seems like something Kesha would be all about.
Zayn Malik
Alright, so Zayn may have been joking when he told an interviewer from Glamour that he decided to leave One Direction because an alien came to him in a dream and suggested it was the right move. Whatever the case, the former boy bander seems to have some type of heavenly being looking out for him. After leaving One Direction, Zayn went on to have a very successful solo career and just welcomed a baby girl with gorgeous girlfriend Gigi Hadid. And Mr. Malik has an estimated net worth of over 50 million.
So Miley has made goo-goo eyes with an alien, Demi ponders the mysteries of the universe with an E.T. PhD, and Zayn gets advice from a prophetic extraterrestrial being? Celebrities man. It’s almost as if they’re from another planet. Hmm……
