Goodtime Hotel Offers an Oasis

When arriving at the hotel, stars were greeted by the unassuming gleaming white building, a mere whisper of the promise of the luxury inside. The hotel itself boasts 226 rooms, a library, and nearly 100,000 square feet of public space to transform your Miami Beach stay into a soothing and mind-reviving getaway. With an art-deco interior and a zen feel, and the bustle of Miami Beach just feet away, the hotel will feel like your own private oasis.

In a statement Grutman shares his thoughts on the transformative and revolutionary south Florida escape; “My first hotel needed to break the mold,” he says. “I wanted to provide the 360-degree Groot Hospitality experience that our other venues are known for, but I also wanted to add more. This is about providing a getaway within a town that’s already known as a vacation spot. When you arrive at the hotel, and walk through our doors, it becomes a full on experience. When you’re at The Goodtime, we want you to feel like your worries and anxieties have been left outside. I am proud to have worked closely with Pharrell, Michael Fascitelli, Eric Birnbaum and Ken Fulk on bringing this hotel to life.”

And Pharrell agrees; for them, the hotel was about offering visitors a way to dive headling into the invigorating nightlife of Miami and the electric world around them, while maintaining that soul-refreshing escape you’d get from your own private island. “We want The Goodtime Hotel to impart a feeling of both revitalization and that rare, exciting thrill that takes over when you discover something special,” says Pharrell Williams. “It’s that adrenaline-fueled sensation of entering a whole new setting and a whole new mindset. This place will provide a natural good time, for all who come through.”

When you sweep through the doors and take in the perfectly appointed lobby, your joy has just begun; you can also enjoy the 45,000 square-foot retail space, or lounge next to the 30,000 square foot pool deck to indulge in treats from Strawberry Moon. Created with signature Grutman style, Strawberry Moon serves Mediterranean-style cuisine with specialty cocktails.
