Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow joined their ‘Friends’ costar and real-time best pal, Courtney Cox as she was awarded for her achievements in Hollywood. Cox was also accompanied by her daughter, Coco Arquette, for the big event.

More Than ‘Friends’

Although Cox’s most famous role remains to be Monica Geller in Friends, the actress has been in over 25 movies throughout the course of her career. And, this year she will be starring in the new horror film, Scream VI.

Before landing her iconic role in Friends, Cox was seen in a major role in the original Scream. The movie’s success became the catalyst for a franchise of films, all of which Cox was in.

The mom of one was in other popular films and television shows including:

  • Ace Ventura
  • Mothers and Daughters
  • Private Practice
  • Cougartown
  • Barnyard
  • Seinfeld
  • Bedtime Stories

And, many more.

Celebrating Courtney Cox

During the ceremony Cox was asked if she ever expected to have her name permanently cemented on the sidewalks of Hollywood, to which she responded, “Not in a million years.” Adding in,  “I’m from Birmingham, Alabama… That’s just not something you think would be a possibility, but I did know that ‘Friends’ was special.”

As we mentioned, Cox was joined by her two costars and long-time friends, Aniston and Kudrow who also continued with successful acting careers following the end of their famed sitcom.

After standing alongside Cox at the celebratory event, Aniston shared a heartfelt post on Instagram for her dear friend.

“Very proud of our girl @courteneycoxofficial today.” wrote Aniston. She added, “I love these women with literally every ounce of my heart and soul ❤️ @lisakudrow and I were on a cloud being able to celebrate her and her incredible achievements ⭐️”

Arquette posed with her mother wearing a white babydoll-style mini dress paired with an oversized leather black coat. Cox stood beside her in a long collared coat paired with a semi-sheer black pleated maxi skirt and a black top. She dressed up the look with hints of gold accessories and black pointed-toe boot heels.

Cox spoke directly to her daughter during her speech saying, “Coco, it’s not easy to grow up in this business… and you shine in your own unique light, and I love you so much, and I’m so proud of you. I am proud to be your mom.”
