Is Taylor Swift already on a quest for her new lover? Swifties were recently thrown into a frenzy over her break-up from long-time beau Joe Alwyn but it seems as though they’ve already moved on with details of a new man and maybe so has Swift herself.

A source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly Swift has been spending time with an old flame, Matt Healy. The two had a “brief” fling “years ago” but “they’re looking to give things a second chance,” the source shared.
They also noted that Swift and Healy exist within “the same circle of friends,” a specific mutual friend being Jack Antonoff, and are “having a good time reconnecting again.” The “Lavender Haze” singer is reportedly “happy spending time with him,” and really likes the musician.
This past Thursday the pair was seen holding hands and spending time with Antonoff at New York City’s Casa Cipriani. A source revealed to PEOPLE, “Taylor is happy. She’s very focused on her tour but is enjoying hanging out with Matty when she is off.”
Another source added, “They’re hanging out and having a good time. It’s not just platonic.”
Healy was spotted attending three nights of Swifts Era’s tour hanging out in the VIP area with the “Lover” singer’s close friends, Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge.
The Pressures of Dating Taylor Swift
Healy and Swift sparked dating rumors back in 2014 which Healy said to be “all fake.” However, he addressed the rumor again, two years later, during an interview with Q Magazine. The 1975 band member admitted to having a “flirtation” with the pop star. Although, he also admitted, “She wasn’t a big impact on my life.”
But, don’t jump ahead. He continued to talk Swift up saying, “It’s just interesting to me how interested the world is about Taylor Swift. The reason I mention that is because if I had [properly] gone out with Taylor Swift, I would’ve been, ‘F–king hell, I am not being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.’ You know, ‘F–k. That.’ That’s also a man thing, a demasculating [sic], emasculating thing.”
And, a few months later he revisited his comments during an interview with Elle saying, “I have said on countless occasions that I found her to be one of the most gracious, hard-working, creatively gifted, and beautiful women that I have had the pleasure to meet. I personally have a lot of respect and admiration for her. Why would I not?”
A Single Swift

The “Lavender Haze” singer dated Alywn for six years before the public had any idea about their relationship. In her new album, Midnights, Swift became more open about her long-term relationship, with the first song on the track being about Alwyn specifically.
Fans (and everyone else) had an inkling about the break-up between Swift and Alwyn when the singer changed up her setlist for her Eras tour. Originally, Swift was performing “Invisible String,” a love song from her album Folklore. However, for her show in Arlington, Texas, Swift swapped out the heart-hugging track about her and Alwyn for a break-up song also from Folklore, titled “The 1.”
ET revealed that their split “was not dramatic” and that “the relationship has just run its course,” according to the source. Swift and Alwyn have yet to comment about the breakup themselves however, with their efforts to stay private while together, it’s safe to assume that they probably will stay private about this as well.
