Although teen moms have grown out of their teen years, that doesn’t necessarily include the teen drama. The ongoing feud between the Teen Mom 2 cast mates, Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry is no short story. The two have progressively intensified their issues over attitude problems, court cases and also rumors. The most recent rumor that has sparked conversation is that DeJesus and Lowry’s ex, Chris Lopez, have hooked up. Recently, the Teen Mom star spoke out about the rumors with a savage statement.
The Drama You Need To Know
Their drama began in 2017 when DeJesus joined the Teen Mom 2 cast. It’s been said that the two were on good terms prior to DeJesus coming on but, allegedly Lowry was “intimidated” by her. Past that however, the real drama began when DeJesus began dating Lowry’s ex husband, Javi Marroquin. After the two were spotted partying together in New York Lowry told InTouch, “I don’t really know much about it, but I wish them the best. That’s all I’ll say on that.” Well, until the couple planned a vacation for them with their kids (also being Lowry’s kids) and it was revealed that they would all be sharing the same room.
The issues between the “teen” moms lingered their way into the reunion episode where DeJesus admitted to feeling alienated by the rest of the cast because of their problems. She shared, “Kail’s feeling some type of way about it, and because Kail is feeling some type of way, the other girls [on the show] don’t want to be my friend.” Anyways, DeJesus and Lowry now share an ex because her and Marraquin ended their relationship in January 2018.
To say the least, problems only continued. Although, they did have one moment of peace in October 2020 when Lowry had to break it to her kids that she was separating from her most recent husband, Chris Lopez. But, it was short lived. DeJesus assumed that Lowry’s reason to not film was due to her arrest. DeJesus told Celebuzz, “Personally, I feel like if you are too good to film your real life, then would you be on a show that is supposed to be about your real life?”
She continued, “Kail is sitting on the show legitimately filming about a wallpaper color choice when she could be filming about domestic abuse situation with Chris that I was told she was trying to hide.” And there’s our segway into that. The two are in a legal battle over DeJesus allegedly telling lies about Lowry’s life. A statement from Lowry’s assistant read, “Kail has decided to handle this situation with Ms. DeJesus by exercising her legal right to protect herself and her brand in court.”
And now, rumors have been circulating that DeJesus has had an intimate relationship with Lowry’s ex, Lopez.
Is DeJesus Guilty?
DeJesus shared a lengthy statement towards Lowry’s accusations of her hooking up with Lopez. “I was never her friend,” said DeJesus. She assessed, “This is all sadly a pattern of behavior she continues to cycle through. Use people until she no longer needed them and drag people through the mud. I refuse to be a victim of her abuse any longer though and will not stay silent.”
In the statement she made it clear that she “didn’t break girl code,” when it came to her situation with Marroquin and confirmed that she didn’t move on to Lowry’s recent ex. “And for once and for all – no, I never slept with Chris, regardless of what Kail wants to keep intimating. I have no interest in him in that manner and never did.”
The statement included comments beyond her love life stating, “While I could sue her for her action and continued lies about me, my lawyer and I believe in the first amendment. If she wants to continue to make a complete a**hole out of herself we will let her and she can be judged in the court of public opinion. The public can see who she is for themselves and can make their own judgement based on that just like the public has judged her for other things along the way such as her recent PPP loan.”
She concluded with, “When I said I wish we could talk this out as adults on the Teen Mom family reunion I meant it. But sadly I don’t think Kailyn is in that place nor will ever be. And that’s that.”
