Speaking of Thor: Love and Thunder…
Speaking of the new Thor movie, it comes straight from the delightfully strange and creative mind of director and actor, Taika Waititi.
This newest MCU installment follows Avenger and God of Thunder Thor on a new and unpredictable adventure through the world of self-discovery, a place the royal son has not spend much time in before.
Galactic menace Gorr the God Butcher (played by Christian Bale) is a threat Thor can only defeat by enlisting the aid of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Waititi himself), and ex Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Since they last parted, Foster gained some remarkable abilities – including the ability to wield the magical hammer, Mjolnir.
It's a chaotic, wild, psychedelic adventure that takes the ancient god-hero and grows him up a little – but expect plenty of child-friendly humor and moments.
Thor: Love and Thunder is streaming on Disney+ with IMAX Enhanced, and will return to select AMC theaters September 8 through 19.
