Donald Trump Furiously Taunts Enemies on Truth Social, Saying Others Who Have Challenged Him are Now ‘Permanently Damaged’

Over the weekend, a furious Donald Trump took to Truth Social to blast his enemies and take on his favorite foils: the mainstream media.
But this week’s taunts got a little dark as the former POTUS suggested that his enemies were in peril – the closest he’s come to making outright violent threats since January 6, 2021.
Donald Trump Blasts Enemies, Gearing up for January 6 Subpoena Battle
Things are heating up in the world of Trump.
The January 6 committee has formally issued a subpoena to Trump, compelling him to provide testimony and documents relevant to the capitol riots for which they wish to hold him accountable.
Now that the public hearings have wrapped up, the final piece of the puzzle they need before sending a recommendation to the Department of Justice is the testimony of the man himself – Trump.
While it seems unimaginably foolhardy for Trump to consider speaking before the committee, there would be some advantages to doing so and he may consider going along with the subpoena.
But regardless of what happens with that, it’s clear that the former POTUS is frustrated and lashing out on Truth Social at his enemies, including the mainstream media.
Trump wrote over the weekend, “Who is going to enter the Trump Quicksand? Many have tried, leaving permanently damaged, or never to be heard from again!”
He went on to post, “Fake News CNN, on the low rated Jake Tapper show, just stated that I control 30% of the Republican Party. I don’t want to control anything, but if they are going to use numbers, at least use the right ones, try 90%. Perhaps they should also mention that close to 100% of the people I Endorsed in the Republican Primaries WON…Unprecedented numbers!”
And later added, “’60 Minutes’ is not a News Show, it is a Democrat propaganda machine. Their story last night on Election Fraud was a JOKE! The evidence is massive, not to even mention that State Legislatures did not grant necessary approvals, the FBI paid people to, essentially, ‘get Trump,’ and then told Facebook and others that the Laptop from Hell was Russian disinformation, when they knew it was not – and much more. Barr, Krebs, and the rest of the RINO Establishment, should be ashamed of themselves!”
What all of this says is that while Trump is pretending not to be bothered by or interested in what’s happening, he’s actually laser-focused on it and can’t walk away from the TV. This tracks with what aides and those formerly close to the former President’s close orbit have said about his television habits during times of high stress.
Are Trump, Elon Musk and Kanye West All Creating a Social Media Monster Together?
Think about who might have decided “The Current Thing” before accepting it— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 23, 2022
For many, 2022 has become the year of entering the upside down.
When Trump found himself banned from most social media platforms for inciting the January 6 riots, he ended up creating his own social media network: Truth Social.
Elon Musk, frustrated with the moderation policies of Twitter, decided that the best way to run his favorite platform would be to actually run it. And he could close on a $44B deal to purchase the company as soon as Friday of this week.
Meanwhile, rapper and controversial public figure Kanye West has found himself persona non grata on multiple social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram – so he bought his own. West now owns “free speech” platform Parler, which just so happens to be the brainchild of the husband of one of his most influential peers – Candace Owens.
And the three of them, the internet’s most jilted men, may be creating their own social media platform, which Musk has teased before – known as “X.”
While for many, a team-up of the trio would mean an unprecedented opportunity to join a social media platform with no restrictions or oversight, it could be a dystopian nightmare for minorities and women.
As of now, there’s no proof that the business collab is happening, but Musk has teased it on Twitter and has many critics worried that a plan is in the works.
