JUST IN: Furious and Cornered Donald Trump Lashes Out After Judge Deals News that May Complicate Reelection Plans

Former President Donald Trump is hellbent on returning to the White House in 2024.
Since the end of 2022, Trump and his team have been laser-focused on that goal.
Along the way, he’s attacked rivals, critics, and sometimes even allies – completely dedicated to reclaiming the presidency and “Making America Great Again.”
But the enigmatic business mogul keeps being dealt legal and civil setbacks, and this week is no exception.
Yesterday, Trump appeared via video conference for a pretrial hearing in the so-called “hush money” case. Judge Juan Merchan, overseeing the case, informed the former POTUS that he was limited as to what he could share about the case on social media.
Trump looked flustered, frustrated, and angry – even shaking his head at one point when he was informed that the trial would take place in March 2024, during the height of Republican primary season.
As if Trump’s day couldn’t get worse, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s team announced that the extremist state leader would be announcing his intention to run for the presidential nomination.
And DeSantis will be (virtually) standing beside controversial tech mogul Elon Musk when he makes the announcement, a double whammy to Trump who appears to be more and more out of touch with each coming year.
DeSantis and Musk together represent everything Trump cannot be – young, tech-savvy, and surrounded by allies.

Trump wrote on Truth social, “Look, Rob DeSanctimonious came to me asking for help. He was losing badly, by 31 points, to popular Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam. He was getting ready to drop out of the race – Ran a terrible campaign! Ron told me he had one last chance, my Support & Endorsement, which Putnam, and everyone else, wanted also. I gave it to Ron, and the race was over. In one day, he went from losing badly, to winning by a lot. With 3 LARGE TRUMP RALLIES, he WON THE GENERAL ELECTION in an upset. DISLOYAL!!!”
He added, “Ron DeSanctus can’t win the General Election (or get the Nomination) because he VOTED TO OBLITERATE SOCIAL SECURITY, EVEN WANTING TO RAISE THE MINIMUM AGE TO 70 (or more!), VOTED TO BADLY WOUND MEDICARE, AND FOUGHT HARD AND VOTED FOR A 23% ‘TAX ON EVERYTHING’ SALES TAX. He was, and is, a disciple of horrible RINO Paul Ryan, and others too many to mention. Also, he desperately needs a personality transplant and, to the best of my knowledge, they are not medically available yet. A disloyal person!”
But Trump’s bad day did not stop there.
Trump’s legal team seems to be worried that indictments will soon be coming down the pipeline from Special Counsel Jack Smith who is handling the classified documents case and determining whether or not Trump broke the law.
They requested a Hail Mary meeting with Attorney General Merrick Garland to discuss what they consider is “injustice” occurring in the course of Smith’s investigation.
Garland denied the team’s request for a meeting, which means that they won’t have a last-minute chance to avert indictments if they’re imminent.
And they could be.
All signs seem to indicate that Smith is wrapping up his investigation, and Trump will likely face indictments on at least obstruction, if not more. Smith’s case against Trump could well be the most serious charges Trump will face in a summer that looks to be criminally fraught for the former President.
Because it’s not just the hush money case and Smith’s classified documents case that will be pressing down on the former President’s back.
In Georgia, Fulton County DA Fani T Willis has indicated that she will be handing out indictments sometime this summer, and it’s almost certain that Trump will be among the recipients.
Trump, feeling frustrated, screamed on Truth Social early Wednesday, “I BUILT THE GREATEST ECONOMY IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD, NO INFLATION, ENERGY INDEPENDENCE, AND SOON DOMINANCE, THE STRONGEST BORDER EVER, RECORD BEST EMPLOYMENT NUMBERS, BIGGEST TAX & REGULATION CUTS, REBUILT OUR MILITARY, NO WARS WITH RUSSIA/UKRAINE OR CHINA/TAIWAN (OR ANYWHERE!), AND THE USA WAS RESPECTED ALL OVER THE WORLD! WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY?”
And even on the civil front, things are grim for Trump.
Writer E Jean Carroll was recently awarded $5M in a rape defamation lawsuit against Trump.
Carroll says that Trump raped her in the changing room of a Bergdorf Goodman in 1996, and then later defamed her when denying the assault.
A jury agreed with Carroll, and she was given $5M. Nearly immediately, Trump turned around and attacked Carroll again, potentially defaming her – again.
Early Monday, Carroll’s team filed an amended lawsuit against Trump asking for even more “significant monetary damages” for the new rounds of defamation, including some comments Trump made on his Truth Social website.
Today, he yelled, “ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!!” on Truth.
It’s all going from bad to worse for Trump – but he always thrives with his back against the wall.
