Former President Donald Trump has been on a tear all weekend. It started on Saturday when he blasted shock jock Howard Stern and hasn’t slowed much since then. But on Monday morning, Trump zeroed in on President Joe Biden. The former President went on an all-caps rant against Biden’s domestic policies, and talked about his “lazy a.” The past few days have marked an escalation in Trump’s furious online rhetoric. And could signal something coming soon in the world of Trump’s woes.
Trump Blasts Shock Jock Howard Stern
In the wee hours of Saturday, September 23, Donald Trump had a few things to say about SiriusXM host and shock jock Howard Stern. Stern has recently spoken about the fact that he does not support Trump. He has also discussed his support for vaccines, and how being called “woke” is not an insult. Stern said that he takes being called “woke” as something of a compliment. He told listeners, “I’ll tell you how I feel about it. To me, the opposite of ‘woke’ is being asleep. And if woke means I can’t get behind Trump, which is what I think it means, or that I support people who want to be transgender or I’m for the vaccine, dude, call me woke as you f–king want.”
Around 2 AM on Saturday, Trump took to Truth Social to write, “The real Howard Stern is a weak, pathetic, and disloyal guy, who lost his friends and MUCH of his audience.” He continued, “Until just recently, I haven’t heard his name mentioned in years.” Trump added that he appeared on Stern’s show “many times in the good old days” until he “went woke.” Trump sneered, “Nobody cares about him any longer.” The former President concluded, “I don’t know what they (really!) pay him, but it shouldn’t be much. His influence is gone, and without that, he’s got NOTHING – Just a broken weirdo, unattractive both inside and out, trying like hell to be relevant!”
Shortly after posting about Stern, Trump turned his ire to President Joe Biden and the auto workers strike.

And on Monday morning, Donald Trump was back to blasting Biden.
The former President wrote, “Crooked Joe Biden, who is killing the United Autoworkers with his WEAK stance on China and his ridiculous insistence on All Electric Cars, every one of which will be made in China, saw that I was going to Michigan this week (Wednesday!), so the Fascists in the White House just announced he would go there tomorrow.”
He suggested, “That was the only way to get him out of the basement and off his lazy a..!” Trump then called Biden a “complete disaster for all Autoworkers.” The business mogul suggested that Biden’s policies will mean that there won’t be “any Autoworkers left” in three years. Trump then said Biden is “destroying” the country, which then will “destroy” the Autoworkers. Trump added, “When he slowly walks to pretend he is a ‘picket,’ REMEMBER, HE WANTS TO TAKE YOUR JOBS AWAY AND GIVE THEM TO CHINA AND OTHER FOREIGN COUNTRIES.”
The 2024 hopeful then pled in all caps, “TURN YOUR BACK ON THIS CORRUPT AND HIGHLY INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT, BY FAR THE WORST IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, AND SHOUT OUT TO YOUR UNION LEADERSHIP TO ENDORSE DONALD J. TRUMP. I WILL KEEP YOUR JOBS AND MAKE YOU RICH!!!”
Trump’s increase in fighting rhetoric often comes when things are toughest for the Republican frontrunner. Whether he’s reacting to the stress of current ongoing criminal cases or anticipating something new remains to be seen. But it’s clear that Donald Trump is feeling the strain. And he is lashing out at targets the former President sees as standing in his way. This tactic won him the presidency in 2016, and he’s hoping to repeat that magic again in 2024.
