The countdown is finally over. Elliot Grainge and Sofia Richie tied the knot in the south of France and our jaws are still dropped over the beauty. The 24-year-old model said “I do” to the music executive in Antibes, France on April 22.

A few weeks before the wedding, Richie invited Vogue for an inside look at her final dress fitting at the Chanel haute couture salon. The model explained, “I always had this vision of the big princess dress and going big, but as I got older, I realized that I wanted something a bit more simple.” Adding in, “Maybe ‘simple’ isn’t the right word because my dress definitely is not simple!”
During her fitting, Richie gushed over her groom saying, “I’m so excited to be married just because I’m marrying Elliot, I know that sounds so cheesy, but he’s the man of my dreams.” And, when referring to him seeing her dress she revealed, “I honestly think Elliot is going to love it. He is my biggest cheerleader when it comes to anything I wear. If he doesn’t cry, I’ll be very sad.”

Richie wore three custom looks from Chanel – rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and after-party. She found inspiration from her personal style to Claudia Schiffer‘s look from the 1993 Fall Chanel Couture show, all of which we can honestly say were stunning.
The couple were joined by close friends and loved ones including Richie’s father and music legend Lionel Richie, her sister Nicole Richie, Grainge’s father Lucian Grainge , and his stepmother, Caroline Grainge along with many others.
Elliot Grainge Seals the Deal
Grainge proposed to Richie during a tropical getaway last April. The bride-to-be captioned the moment, “Forever isn’t long enough.”
For many reasons, Richie’s friends and family knew he was the one but fans also knew it was a forever thing when her famous father, Lionel Richie, voiced his approval (which we all know he did the exact opposite when she was dating Scott Disick). The famous singer told Access Hollywood shortly after the engagement that he’s “known him since he was 12.” Adding in “It was one of those things where I don’t have to go back and check out the kid. I know who it is.”
Last month Sofia was showered with love during her pre-wedding soiree. The well-liked model looked stunning in a white halter dress, surrounded by the elegant decor and those closest to her. Sofia posted a carousel of photos that featured her kissing Grainge on the cheek, the aesthetically pleasing catering room, her snuggled-up to her sister, Nicole Richie, and more beautiful moments from the day.
We’re not really sure what to do with ourselves now that the wedding of the year is over. Wait for the honeymoon photos we guess?
