Factz, a burgeoning digital media powerhouse, recently finalized its acquisition of the renowned celebrity entertainment hub, HollywoodLife.com, in a momentous deal that marked a significant shift in the industry landscape. In a departure from its earlier incarnation, the illustrious founder, president, and editor-in-chief, Bonnie Fuller, bids adieu to her role within the company.

Reflecting on her journey, Fuller remarked, “The dedicated efforts of both myself and our exceptional editorial team in nurturing Hollywood Life into a bastion of credible entertainment and celebrity news, along with content that resonated deeply with our diverse readership, fills me with immense pride.” This sentiment was conveyed through an exclusive statement provided to Variety. Looking ahead, Fuller expressed her excitement about the trajectory that Hollywood Life is poised to follow under fresh ownership and leadership.

Sources from within confirm that FACTZ, a dynamic player that emerged in 2022, has its sights set on a comprehensive site overhaul, slated for early 2024. Simultaneously, a new mobile application is in the works, aiming to enhance the user experience. In a bold expansion move, FACTZ aims to venture into live events and activations, while also forging exclusive collaborations with prominent celebrities. The brand remains in active pursuit of additional acquisitions within the digital news sphere.

CEO Nik Richie exuded enthusiasm about HollywoodLife’s integration into the FACTZ fold, stating, “As FACTZ thrives as a hub of reliable entertainment news, the addition of HollywoodLife is an exciting milestone. No other platform is as perfectly poised as HollywoodLife to drive our evolution into a news authority. It stands as the epitome of online celebrity content, and I eagerly anticipate its ongoing triumph under the FACTZ umbrella.”

The visionary behind Factz, Stephen J. Cloobeck, expressed his delight in being part of a collective effort that embraces the creativity of Gen-Z and millennial demographics. This collaboration not only retains jobs within California but also exemplifies a code of conduct based on values such as civil discourse, ethics, morality, love, respect, and above all, integrity.

Eli Lippman, serving as FACTZ’s President, sees this acquisition as a remarkable opportunity. He shared, “This marks an exceptional moment for us, where we not only assimilate an iconic celebrity news platform into our expanding portfolio but also gain access to exceptionally talented individuals proficient in storytelling, breaking news, and audience engagement. The dawn of a new era for Hollywood Life is upon us, and I am excited to propel this brand into its role as the foremost celebrity news outlet for years to come.”

A trailblazer in her own right, Fuller’s journey includes launching the American edition of Marie Claire, and her tenure as the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine. Transitioning into the realm of celebrity news, she orchestrated the revival of Us Weekly for Wenner Media in 2002. HollywoodLife.com came into being in 2009 as a collaboration with Penske Media Corporation.
