Green Day Releases Limited Edition Trump Mugshot T-Shirt for Charity
American rock band Green Day has introduced a special edition t-shirt featuring a depiction of former President Donald Trump’s mugshot

American rock band Green Day has introduced a special edition t-shirt featuring a depiction of former President Donald Trump’s mugshot as part of a charitable initiative. The t-shirt, named ‘Ultimate Nimrod,’ is available for a limited time and aims to support wildfire-affected communities by providing food aid through the Greater Good Music Charity.
The t-shirt design ingeniously incorporates Trump’s viral mugshot into a recreation of Green Day’s iconic album cover for ‘Nimrod,’ with the album’s title strategically placed over Trump’s face.
The limited-run t-shirt is accessible for purchase for 72 hours only, with the clock already ticking. The merchandise is priced at US$35, and interested buyers can find it on sale here.
Green Day has also recently unveiled plans for a significant 30th-anniversary reissue of their third studio album, ‘Dookie.’ Set for release in the coming month, the ‘Dookie (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)’ is scheduled for September 29. Fans can pre-order the album to commemorate this milestone.
The t-shirt release coincides with the recent news of Donald Trump’s arrest, where his mugshot gained widespread attention and even turned into a viral meme. Trump was arrested in Georgia on charges related to his alleged involvement in plotting to overturn the state’s 2020 election results. He paid a bail bond of $200,000 to secure his release from the Atlanta jail and is now awaiting trial.
This marked the fourth arrest for Trump in five months, but the first instance of a police booking photo taken of the former president. He faces a total of 13 charges, including racketeering, soliciting a public official to violate his oath of office, conspiracy to impersonate a public officer, conspiracy to commit forgery, and making false statements. Despite these charges, Trump vehemently denies any wrongdoing, maintaining his stance that the 2020 election was rigged and stolen.
