Wait, is Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde‘s relationship fake?! Many fans are convinced that they aren’t really dating after they spotted what they think is a photoshopped photo of the pair. Yep, for those who missed it, the couple (who went public with their relationship back in January) was spotted out to lunch in London, England, recently, but some people are convinced that pics of them during the outing are not real.
“An account on twitter found out that the pictures of Harry and Olivia having lunch together are photoshopped, like her face is copy pasted in the picture,” an anonymous tipster told us. “Also there is a picture of Harry walking in that outfit and he is edited into the picture (you can see it at his legs, they disappear into the background). I know a thing or two about photoshopping too, and there is no way you can see that part of the fence if he isn’t completely pasted into that picture.”
They added, “Also fun to mention, there are some locals who claim she is still living with [her ex] Jason Sudeikis and that Harry’s assistant is always on their dates as a buffer. Plus, H was wearing a totebag with the words, ‘I think we need to see other people.’”

Why Would Harry Styles And Olivia Wilde Fake Their Relationship?
Obviously it’s all speculation for now, but the reason many fans think that their relationship isn’t real is because they think that the “Sign of the Times” crooner is secretly dating his One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson. Fans have been convinced for years that the two are in love and that they’re being forced to hide their romance from the world because of their management team.
It all started when fans noticed a bunch of cute little interactions and interesting comments made between the two guys online, on stage, in videos and during interviews, and quickly, theories started to arise that they were more than friends. Now, there are entire Tumblr pages and Twitter accounts dedicated to the rumored relationship — which fans refer to as Larry Stylinson — and over the years, fans have compiled tons of pictures, videos, GIFs, quotes and so many more things that they believe are proof of Styles and Tomlinson’s love.
What Else Do We Know About Harry Styles And Olivia Wilde’s Romance?
It’s still unclear when Styles and Wilde officially started dating, but according to Entertainment Tonight, they grew super close during their time on set of their new movie Don’t Worry Darling (which Styles is starring in and Wilde is directing), and romantic feelings started to develop.
“Olivia and Harry are together for long days on set and have gotten to know each other really well, so it’s all very organic,” a source said. “[Wilde] wouldn’t let a romantic relationship get in the way of a professional one, so anything they’re doing is being done thoughtfully. So it’s not like she’s rushing into something.”
The pair confirmed their love on January 4, 2021, when they were spotted holding hands at Styles’ manager, Jeff Azoff‘s wedding, and the internet quickly went into a frenzy over the pairing.
According to Us Weekly, Styles and Wilde were “very careful” to keep their relationship private at first.
“Olivia and Harry were able to keep their relationship under wraps for a bit before it became public knowledge,” an insider explained. “They were very careful about it and even sleuthy at times, although the small group of people who were on set with them every day eventually figured it out.”
The Sun added that their 10-year age gap definitely wasn’t a problem for them.
“They clicked immediately — they’re both very artistic, passionate people and it was one of those things where straight away everyone could see they had a spark,” a source said. “Clearly they’re enjoying themselves and the age gap really isn’t a thing. Harry has obviously famously had a thing for older women but he’s just extremely mature himself, you’d never think there was a decade between them.”
What Happened Between Olivia Wilde And Jason Sudeikis?
But things got a little complicated when Sudeikis got involved. He and Wilde reportedly broke up in November 2020, after almost seven years together. At the time, People Magazine claimed that their split actually happened “at the beginning of the year” and that there was no bad blood between them.
“It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship,” a source told them.
But when Styles and Wilde were caught holding hands in January 2021, the story quickly changed. New reports emerged that claimed that Wilde actually started dating Styles in October, and that she and Sudeikis didn’t split until one month later — in November — and that he was not happy about the new relationship.
“Olivia and Jason were having issues, like any other couple, but Jason loves Olivia — he completely adores her, and that’s what makes this so sad. He’s always been committed to making their family work,” a source told Page Six. “People have tried to make out that Harry and Olivia have only been dating for the past few weeks, but that’s not right. Jason found out about Harry and pushed the conversation. Olivia then asked for a separation and news of the split was made public. Harry Styles is basically the reason for Olivia and Jason’s split.”
ET also reported that Sudeikis was “in absolute shock” over the whole thing.
“Jason is beyond distraught. Of course Jason still has feelings for [Wilde]. This is a fresh split,” an insider explained. “He’s in absolute shock. He would like to repair things with Olivia and have his family back together.”
Now, Styles and Wilde are reportedly spending time together in England so that the actress could be around her kids.
“Filming during a pandemic in L.A. was pretty all-consuming,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight. “Now they’re able to unwind, relax, and really enjoy some one-on-one time. Their idea of a good time is going for a long walk and ducking into a neighborhood pub.”
The outlet also reported that Wilde and Sudeikis are “co-parenting but living in separate homes.” Back in March, sources told The Heat that Styles was going to meet the kids, but it’s unclear whether or not he ever did.
“[Harry] knows Olivia’s kids are everything to her,” they said. “They want to enjoy a romantic trip, and Harry’s also keen to introduce her to his mum, friends and family.”
