The actor was only 14 when he starred in iCarly, which means it has been more than 13 years since the Nickelodeon show came out. That’s right, it premiered on September 8, 2007, and we cannot believe how fast time has flown by.
As fans know, the iconic series went on for six seasons before coming to an end on November 23, 2012. It also starred Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Jerry Trainor and Noah Munk, and it was about a young girl named Carly Shay who is propelled into stardom after her Internet show became a huge success. It was a huge part of a lot of our childhoods, so the fact that it’s almost been two decades since it came out is seriously making us feel old.

She also stepped into the music industry and dropped three albums over the years, embarked on numerous world tours and more. And despite her busy schedule, the actress also some how found time to focus on her education. She has attended University of Southern California for the last few years, and is currently gearing up to graduate with a degree in psychology.
What Is Jennette McCurdy Doing Now?
McCurdy most famously continued her role as Sam Puckett in the iCarly spinoff show, Sam & Cat. She also landed roles in Swindle, What’s Next for Sarah?, Bling, Pet, Adam and Wiley’s Lost Weekend, Between, Little B***hes and more. That’s not all! Get this, you guys — in 2018, the actress made her directorial debut with a short film titled Kenny (which she also wrote!). Since then, she wrote and directed three more flicks, including one that was based off her own childhood. Plus, McCurdy launched her own podcast called “Empty Inside,” wrote a series of articles for The Wall Street Journal, Seventeen and The Huffington Post and released two albums over the years.

In October 2015, he formed a band called Nice Enough People, and the group released their debut EP, Hanover Hideaway, on June 22, 2016.

Kress accomplished so much after iCarly! He appeared in so many big movies and TV shows, including Into the Storm, Tell Me How I Die, Alexander IRL, Star Wars Rebels, Breaking Brooklyn, Alive in Denver, Pinky Malinky and more. In 2019, he started his own podcast called “RadioActive Dads” with Brett Davern, and he also directed an episode of Henry Danger. As for his love life, the former Nickelodeon star married actress London Elise Moore in November 2015. Munk may always be Gibby in fans’ hearts, but that didn’t stop him from landing tons more roles.
