Iggy Azalea’s performance took an unexpected turn when a wardrobe malfunction led to her being forced off stage during a show in Saudi Arabia. A viral video captured the Australian rapper encountering a mishap while performing her 2014 track, “Goddess.” As she knelt down during the performance, her black pants tore, prompting her to sit down to maintain her outfit’s integrity.

In the midst of her continued performance, a visibly concerned female stagehand provided her with a towel and guided her to cover her exposed leg, adhering to Saudi Arabia’s strict laws on indecent exposure.

Following the incident, Iggy Azalea took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her perspective. In a now-deleted tweet, she expressed regret and explained the situation: “Saudi Arabia, please know to everyone at the show tonight… I LOVE YOU!!! And I’m soooooo sorry I wasn’t allowed to finish my show. It’s not the promoter who put on the show’s fault, so show them kindness because they are amazing people and we all wanted to continue but were not allowed by authorities because of my pants splitting.”

Meanwhile, the artist recently returned to the rap scene with a new explicit track titled “Money Come,” produced by Tricky Stewart. In the song, she asserts her return and takes aim at certain contemporary female rappers. The accompanying music video features Iggy Azalea and her crew orchestrating a takeover of a corporate office.

Despite her earlier plans to step away from music, Iggy Azalea made a comeback following a year out of the studio. In August 2022, she shared on Twitter that she had decided to return to music due to her resilience against negative energy and nosiness. Her latest track showcases her bold attitude and artistic revival.
