Jenelle Evans, facing every parent’s fear, recently experienced the distress of her 14-year-old son Jace going missing not once, but twice within the span of two weeks. On both occasions, local law enforcement was brought in to assist in locating him.
According to Jenelle’s manager, August Keen, the first instance occurred when Jace ventured off the expansive North Carolina property where they reside. After several hours of no contact, Jenelle initiated a search and enlisted the help of the police. Jace was eventually found at a nearby gas station, though it remains unclear whether he had been with friends or was navigating the situation on his own.
Earlier this month, a similar incident unfolded when Jace went missing after leaving school. After a search, he was located and returned safely. Jenelle explained that the occurrence was triggered by her taking away Jace’s phone due to misbehavior at school.
Jace has since returned home to Jenelle and her husband, David Eason. Keen assured that the family is harmonious, and Jace is expressing a desire for more independence as he enters his teenage years. These instances highlight the common dynamics of a teenager seeking more freedom and autonomy.
