Ever since they walked down the aisle together, fans have been patiently waiting for Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber to have a baby. Well guys, it seems like they’re finally ready to expand their family! Yep, the singer just revealed that he and his wife want to start trying to get pregnant by the end of 2021, and we couldn’t be more exited about it.
According to USA Today, in his new movie Justin Bieber: Our World, the superstar revealed that one of his goals for 2021 is to “squish out a nugget” — AKA have a baby.
“By the end of 2021?” Baldwin asked him, to which he responded, “Maybe we start trying.”

What Has The Couple Previously Said About Having A Baby?
For those who missed it, their friend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson previously revealed that he thought the two stars were going to become parents sometime this year. Back in August 2020, Baldwin became an aunt when he sister, Alaia Baldwin, welcomed her first child with her husband, Andrew Aronow. And when Bieber posted a snap of himself holding the new baby, Johnson left a pretty interesting comment.
“This pretty much seals the deal. Fully expect you and H to have a baby in 2021,” he wrote.

As fans know, Bieber was actually supposed to embark on a world tour this year, but unfortunately, it got delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. And according to the “Love Yourself” crooner, he wanted to have a baby as soon as it was over.
“I’m gonna freaking crush this tour. You and me, traveling the world,” he said to Baldwin during an Instagram Live in January 2020. “Then, after the tour we have a baby.”
Plus, when he was asked about his plans to have a baby with Baldwin in March 2020, Bieber told Ellen DeGeneres, “I think it’s up to Hailey because it’s her body.” Wow, how sweet is that?!
Finally, he told Zane Lowe on his Apple Music radio show in February 2020 that he wasn’t quite ready to expand his family just yet, but that it was definitely the next step for them.
“I want to start my own family, in due time. I want to enjoy being married for a little bit, go on tour, be married, enjoy traveling with just us, build more of our relationship. I think that it’s definitely the next step, for sure,” the 27-year-old revealed.
How Long Have Justin Bieber And Hailey Baldwin Been Together?
Bieber and Baldwin met for the first time all the way back in 2009. But it wasn’t until 2014 when they became super close. They had a brief fling in 2016 but went their separate ways a few months later.
They weren’t in contact for almost two years after that, but when they ran into each other at a church conference in Miami in June 2018, they realized how much they missed one another.
“The common denominator, I promise you, is always church. By then we were past the drama. I just gave him a hug. By the end of the conference, he was like, ‘We’re not going to be friends.’ I was like, ‘We’re not?’” Baldwin explained to Vogue, with Bieber adding, “When I saw her last June, I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life. I was like, Holy cow, this is what I’ve been looking for.”
The supermodel also told Elle, “I remember we were hanging out and I was like, ‘Listen, I’m really, really happy for us to be friends again. I want us to always be cool and be friends.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, here’s the thing — We’re not going to be friends.’ And I was like, ‘Oh. Is that so?’ I think we were both a little unsure about what was going on in the very beginning. It was familiar territory, but when a lot of time goes by, it’s like getting to know a new person.”
In the weeks that followed, Bieber and Baldwin were definitely not afraid to show off their love! They were caught packing on the PDA so many times, and fans were living for it. And one month later — in July 2018 — the musician popped the question.

Hailey, I am soooo in love with everything about you,” he wrote on Instagram. “So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment each other so well! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet! It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense! The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same! Bieber and Baldwin low-key tied the knot in September 2018 at a New York City courthouse. Then, one year after they got married, the couple celebrated with a lavish party at the luxurious Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina. You know what they say — “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage!”
