It was another weekend of superstars at Wynn Las Vegas’s XS Nightclub as Justin Bieber and friends launched a takeover. From October 7th-10th, Bieber and pals took the stage at XS and gave fans a weekend of fun and excitement. It all started with a movie screening and a party, and the merriment continued from there. CELEB takes a look at the Bieber Bash and who he brought to play at Wynn Las Vegas.
Justin Bieber and Friends
Bieber took to Wynn this weekend to kick off Justin Bieber & Friends, The Vegas Weekender, by Pollen Presents. Here’s how it all went down:
- October 7th: It all started out with a screening of Amazon’s new movie, “Justin Bieber: Our World.” Then followed an opening party at XS Nightclub with Bieber, musical artist Kehlani, and Latin superstar Lunay.
- October 8th: Australian artist and songwriter The Kid LAROI took the stage at Encore Beach Club with Jaden Smith to rock out in front of a packed audience. The Kid LAROI also hopped over to Delilah to perform a pop-up with hits like, “Without You.”
- October 9th: Bieber and Jaden joined world-famous DJ Marshmello to wow the crowd with a triple threat performance.
Bieber was recently in Vegas for The Shaq Foundation fundraiser on October 2nd, performing at the MGM Grand to help raise money for the Boys & Girls Club of America. And he may be back; Las Vegas Weekly reports, “Although his summer appearance at Wynn was a one-off designed to build buzz around the opening of the lavish Delilah supper club—and a full-fledged Las Vegas Strip residency seems unlikely, given Bieber’s rescheduled Justice world tour kicking off in February—it wouldn’t be surprising to see him sign on for recurring duty at Wynn’s clubs, similar to Drake’s pre-pandemic residency arrangement at XS.”
Hailey (Baldwin) Bieber showed up to cheer on her husband for his performances this weekend, and it was delightful as always to see the couple make an appearance together. Bieber made a cheeky comment as he took the stage, noting, “Vegas, what’s up, this is the first show I’ve ever started at one in the morning.”
But the fun wasn’t limited to XS, Delilah and Encore; stars were seen out and about at Wynn’s newest restaurant, Casa Playa. CELEB took a look at the opening of Casa Playa, and all it has to offer guests. It’s a transformative dining experience that sets guests down in the middle of what feels like a Mexican beach diner, with the warm breezy feel of the Southern Gulf coast.
“There’s a reason stars are flocking to Wynn’s XS. The Wynn team has their finger on the pulse of what makes Las Vegas tick, and they’re constantly updating and meeting the needs of guests. After debuting the wildly popular Delilah Supper Club earlier this year, in true hospitality titan fashion, Wynn is doing it again. With the addition of their newest restaurant; Encore is debuting Casa Playa. Last month, Wynn announced plans to open Casa Playa adjacent to Encore Beach Club in September, a coastal Mexican cuisine concept with authentic dishes and a fun lounge.
Casa Playa is designed to be a playful, upscale twist on an authentic Mexican restaurant, with executive chef Sarah Thompson at the helm. Wynn brought in their resort mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini to set up a unique and perfectly curated menu, along with agave expert Noah Arenstein.”
This weekend, it was world-renowned duo The Chainsmokers seen visiting Casa Playa. In a nearby private dining room, Kehlani also enjoyed the Casa Playa atmosphere after a weekend of work and play.
Wynn’s XS – Playground to the Stars
There are few places that attract stars as readily as Wynn’s new XS. Las Vegas has always been somewhat of an extension of Los Angeles; with fewer rules, more fun, and more indulgences to discover. Last month, XS drew A-list guests like Bella Thorne and fiancé Benjamin Mascolo, Tayshia Adams from Bachelor Nation, and The Chainsmokers.
Performers at the club included headliners like Martin Garrix, Alesso and Lewis Capaldi, while J Balvin and Jhay Cortez hit up Encore next door.
With Bieber making XS his new away-from-home playground, the club’s reputation continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Wynn has always been good at staying on top of the Vegas nightlife scene, but XS, Delilah, and Casa Playa opening this year have kicked it up a notch. Now if you’re looking to find stars outside of Los Angeles, XS is the place to look.
