Vegas resorts are open and with the long-anticipated debut of places like Resorts World, there’s no better time to plan a getaway to the city in the desert. Now that Virgin Hotels has begun its soft opening, they’ve been announcing exciting additions to their property line-up and the newest one has us searching flights. Kassi Beach House, an Italian and Greek inspired poolside restaurant and lounge, will be opening at Virgin Hotels next month—and it sounds amazing.
Kassi Beach House Promises Mediterranean Vibes
With Virgin Hotels itself one of Vegas’s hot new locations, Kassi Beach House is sure to be a scorcher. A press release for the poolside lounge shares, “Renowned hospitality group Wish You Were Here and restaurateur Nick Mathers, creator of L.A.’s Élephante and other notable venues, recently announced the opening of Kassi Beach House, a European style restaurant and lounge with coastal Italian influences, poolside at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Mathers and his Wish You Were Here Group offer this taste of paradise which includes an authentic coastal Italian food and drink menu with DJ lineups evoking the party lifestyle inspired by the laid-back trattorias and tavernas found amongst the Mediterranean islands. Kassi Beach House looks forward to opening to the public mid-April.”
You’ll feel like you hopped on a plane and disembarked somewhere in Coastal Italy or Greece—with a breezy vibe and the kind of atmosphere that begs you to relax. “Kassi Beach House will host guests from around the world, neighbors, foodies, celebrities and tastemakers at its coastal Italian oasis in Las Vegas complete with bohemian chic vibe dining, muted earth tones and refined architectural touches throughout.
Kassi Beach House offers lounge seating, day beds and cabanas poolside, bottle service, private dining experiences, lunch, weekend brunch and dinner service.”
About that food—it’s going to be amazing too. With some mouth-watering offers, the Kassi Beach House Kitchen is going to become your favorite new Vegas locale to grab a bite. “The Kassi Beach House kitchen serves an array of gourmet Coastal Italian cuisine including artisanal, wood-fired pizzas ($18-$24) such as Kale Pizza (kale, guanciale and whipped ricotta roasted on 72-hour house fermented pizza dough), handmade pastas such as the Spaghetti al Cartoccio (Dungeness crab, tomato butter, chili, rose wine—$26), and a variety of meat and fish dishes including staples like the Ribeye steak (bone in, dry-aged with chimichurri and roast garlic—$110), Veal Milanese (pan fried with arugula and cherry tomatoes—$60) and Dorade (whole roasted with oven roasted veggies – $60) while partygoers dance the night away on the dance floor under the disco ball, amidst live DJ sets and a vibrant, yet intimate social scene.
Hand-crafted cocktails include custom libations such as the Kassi (tequila, fresh citrus, watermelon, floral Vermouth, house made chili tincture), the Cavo Paradiso (honey, elderflower, bergamot, fresh cucumber) and the Jamaica Fresca (mezcal, hibiscus, fresh citrus, cacao, mezcal smoke). Bottle service and punch bowls are offered, so guests can keep the fun flowing and indulge themselves all day and night.”
Kassi Beach House is Totally Insta-Worthy
The day is drawing close when you’ll be able to slip on your flip-flops and slide into the Vegas oasis. The press release explains, “Partygoers are able to enjoy an atmosphere like none other with elevated bohemian elements including a social media-worthy terracotta arched entranceway, moody peek-a-boo lighting, and an interior furnished with imported Italian stone and plastered archways emulating the Mediterranean islands. The 300-seat indoor-outdoor space will be a destination in and of itself, with its beachy lounge seating, center bar, fireplaces throughout, intimate dance floor and poolside patio with daybeds and cabanas.
Kassi Beach House will be open from 5 p.m. until late Thursday and Friday. Brunch will be served Saturday and Sunday from 11am. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m, both weekend evenings. Extended days and times to follow the grand opening celebration, slated for May 2021.”
Virgin Hotels’ Soft Opening is Something to See
Kassi Beach House’s opening isn’t coming in a vaccuum—in fact, it comes amid the soft open of the long-awaited Virgin Hotels opening itself.
