A year following Kim Kardashian filing for divorce from Kanye West things have really caught fire. From the rapper making headlines over his controversial presidential campaign and comments during it, to his most recent music video burying Pete Davidson 6 feet under it's safe to say that their separation hasn't been painless. The couple has since legally divorced and the KKW Founder is moving forward with her life. However, Ye hasn't been letting her go without at least having the last word.
The Skims Founder and the famous rapper have been airing out their issues to social media, more than ever before, this past month or so. Their willingness to defend their sides so publicly has drawn a lot of attention to their divorce, leaving fans to worry for the both of them. And, if it was up to anyone to assume, fans most likely wouldn't have expected to see the two of them sharing oxygen within feet of each other again. This past week however, the former couple was seen together at Saint's soccer game being amicable on the sidelines.
Kim Says That She’s Taking “The High Road”
Earlier in the month Kim K opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her efforts to keep thing cordial with Ye amid his online attacks. She explained, "I think that's just who I am. I always saw such a good example in my mom and dad relationship, so I'm always just hopeful. No matter what foes on, that's the father of my kids. I'll always be protective. I always want my kids to see the best of the best as hard as it can be sometimes."
The make-up mogul explained her history of caring too much about the narrative being told and what's genuinely true or false. But, growing up she has improved on herself and that personal issue. Kim stated, "…I just live my life the way I think is right in my soul and just push forward and do the best I can."
Putting Co-Parenting Before Their Problems
On Sunday, March 27th the parents of four were spotted together at their 6-year-old Saint's soccer match. And no, the beloved Pete Davidson was not there with them.
The Hulu star watched the game with her coffee and sunglasses from a lawn chair on the sidelines. She sported tight black leggings with an oversized black zip-up hoodie and a black flip flops.
The Yeezy designer stood close to her side to cheer on his little one. He even joined Saint on the field at one point. Photos show him taking recordings of his kid on the field wearing the most proud smile on his face.
Along with them was North, Chicago and Psalm who they share.
