Billionaire and TV personal Kylie Jenner is no stranger to the media, Instagram, and the Beauty Industry. After being announced by Forbes as the youngest self-made billionaire, Jenner’s abilities in the brand have been seen as one of the most successful beauty brands in the world. Jenner started her own brand, Kylie Cosmetics, because of her love for makeup and how it made her feel.
Kylie Lip kits were the first of Jenner’s products to be launched because of her own insecurities with her thin lips and desire to enhance them through lipstick. Jenner has been open about her desire to make safe and effective beauty products and has been successful with doing so over the last seven years. Kylie is frequently asked by reporters and family members what is next for her business and the answer of the stars’ next steps is finally revealed.
Co-owner of 51% of this 1.5 Billion dollar company, Coty Inc. announces its support and agreement to launch a new brand associated with Kylie Cosmetics. Kylie Baby has made its debut and follows behind the release of Kylie Skin in may of 2019 and Kylie Swim. According to Kylie, she created the brand because “makeup and skincare go hand in hand”. The skincare brand has been confirmed to be cruelty, parable, and sulfate-free. The packaging was also chosen with the idea in mind that chemicals in packaging affect the product in a negative way and this affects the skin. Because of Jenner’s strong feelings for a safe brand, it’s only obvious she felt even stronger about safe products to offer for babies; a topic close to Jenner’s heart.
The world’s most popular baby and more of a fashion Icon than the Whole Kardashian/Jenner clan combined, is none other than the inspiration for Kylie Baby, Stormi Webster. Kylie Jenner tells Coty Inc. that Kylie Baby was inspired by Stormi’s love for bath time and has been kept a secret for over three years. Jenner says “Kylie Baby was my way of creating products that I could develop from the ground up to be exactly what I wanted for my babies so that you can have our tried and tested formula favorites for yours. Bath time has always been our special time together and my favorite part of the day, it’s so amazing for us to now have these products that she helped me create, to make our bath time even more special. I am so proud of what I have created for Stormi and for all of you to use on your babies. I hope you love these products as much as we do.”
Reviews and What to Know About Kylie Baby
The elephant in the room has been a topic that generates hype after the launch of any brand. Specifically, quality and the results of any given product. Jenner is certainly not a dermatologist or doctor of any kind and just as talked about with Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin, Buyers and fans are skeptical of Kylie Babys’ quality. Jenner’s previous brands have gotten a lot of lash and hard questions for the contents of the products and the environment the products are made in. Kylie Baby, released on September 28th of 2021, includes four products currently.
Shampoo, Conditioner, Bubble bath, and a sensitive friendly body lotion. So far Jenner hasn’t received any backlash or news breaking issues with Kylie Baby. The majority of the feedback has seemed positive both from fans, friends, and family with support through Tik Tok posts and video footage of lushness bubble baths and smooth hair “due” to Kylie Baby shampoo. Let us not be deceived however since babies already have soft and healthy hair, soft skin, and love any type of bubbles. Time will tell if the Kylie Baby brand will result in happy parents or angry parents.
Jenner in Hot Water
The release of Kylie Baby has been a happy event in the stars life amid a plethora of angry buyers of Kylie Swim. The star seems to pull out brand after brand and we are all asking if her ability to do that is the extremely low quality of the products. Tik Tokers and IG streamers have taken to social media to review and express their frustrations for their orders of Kylie Swim.
The comments and reviews of Jenner’s swimwear have consistently been about extremely thin fabric, botched seems, rips, unwearable and overpriced for what you get. Jenner has yet to speak out about the complaints of the swim wear and has stuck to promotion of Kylie Baby on social media. This massive issue with the swimwear line could potentially dilute the buyers of Kylie Swim however time will tell.
