The Kar-Jenner family is known for many things, one thing being their ability to keep a secret. The tight-knit family is particular about how and when they release news to the public to assure that it’s done to their liking. One of the best kept family secrets (that we know of at least) was Kylie Jenner‘s first pregnancy. Jenner accomplished the almost impossible of avoiding paparazzi while nurturing a baby bump for nine months. One February 2, 2018 Stormi Webster was born. Jenner shares Stormi with her long time beau, Travis Scott. The couple has been together since Coachella 2017 and have given us no reason to believe that they’re planning on forever. This past February they welcomed their second child into the world, Wolf Webster. However, Jenner recently revealed that their son is no longer Wolf.
Jenner Gets Personal
After the secret of Stormi was no longer a secret, Jenner released a video of her pregnancy that mad everyone’s heart flutter. The couple celebrated their second child the same way with a 10-minute video released on Jenner’s Youtube channel. The heart felt clip shows the beauty mogul in the hospital with her mother, Kris Jenner and Scott by her side. As the screen blacks out and audio plays you hear the excitement of baby Wolf being born. Kris shouted, “He’s out!” and Kylie chimes in, “Hi, Buddy! Oh, my gosh. Your son is here!” And, Scott follows up with, “What’s up, boy? What’s up, big boy?”
Amid the excitement of their baby being born, Jenner has also gotten real about the struggles of postpartum. She recently opened up to her fans on Instagram about her challenges “mentally, physically [and] spiritually” after giving birth. However, she closed it out on a positive note, assuring herself and other moms out there that “it’s OK not to be OK.”
From Wolf To Who?
Six weeks after their sons birth, Jenner and Scott have made the decision to change his name. Wolf was born on February 2, 2022 making him one day (and four years) apart from his older sister. Jenner took the news to her Instagram Story the other day. She wrote, “FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
Out of the 11 grandchildren within the Kar-Jenner family, this is the first time that one of them is back-tracking on a name. The newborn’s name has yet to be shared but knowing how creative the family likes to get with names, we can probably expect something original.
