That’s been the question on everyone’s minds ever since the exes were spotted together at a nightclub in Miami earlier this month, but now, the reality star has finally addressed the rumors. Yep, Jenner shared a screenshot of a now-deleted Daily Mail article that claimed the pair had “rekindled their romance” but that they were in an “open relationship,” and she quickly shut down these rumors.
“You guys really just make up anything,” she captioned it, adding in another tweet, “I’m not discrediting anyone who is in an open relationship but it’s just careless and disrespectful to throw this narrative out there without knowing what’s true.”

For those who forgot, Jenner and Scott dated for more than two years before they called it quits in October 2019. They were super cute together — constantly sharing pics together online, gushing over each other in interviews, attending events side by side and packing on the PDA all over the world! They even welcomed a daughter together, named Stormi Webster, in February 2018.
But they’ve also had a few bumps along the way. It turns out, this isn’t the first time they broke up and got back together, and there were even some rumors that the rapper cheated on the makeup mogul in March 2019. We went ahead and recapped their entire love story from start to finish for you. From how they met to when they started dating to where they stand now, here’s a complete timeline of Jenner and Scott’s relationship…
It All Started At Coachella In 2017
Rumors first started to swirl that the two stars were dating in April 2017, after they were spotted getting cozy at a Coachella party.
“Kylie and Travis made their way to a private table, where they were joined by friends and enjoyed the deejay,” an onlooker told People Magazine. “After five minutes of being in a very crowded space, Travis got up and left the table, and Kylie followed him out with her friends following close behind her.”
A few days later, they were caught hanging out again at an NBA playoff game in Houston.
“They definitely looked like a couple, cuddled up next to each other among her friends,” an eyewitness told People Magazine. “They were super hand-holdy and it seemed like she wanted people to see them together. They haven’t let go of each other since he got off the court.”
Jenner lated explained to GQ that after they hit it off at Coachella, he invited her to come on tour with him. She said, “Coachella was one of the stops on his tour. So he said, ‘I’m going back on tour — what do we want to do about this?’ Because we obviously liked each other … And I was like, ‘I guess I’m going with you.’”
They Made Things Official One Month Later
After one month of spending time together, TMZ reported in May 2017 that the pair had made their relationship exclusive.
“They’ve been inseparable since Coachella and have decided to do the committed relationship thing,” a source told them.
That was also the month they made things Instagram official! Yep, Jenner posted a pic with a group of friends after the Met Gala, and everyone was quick to notice that Scott was in it.

And in June 2017, the Kylie Cosmetics founder and the musician took things to the next level. Get this — they got matching tattoos — they both got little butterflies on their ankles. How cute is that?!
Next Up Came The Pregnancy Announcement
For a few months, Jenner and Scott couldn’t stop showing off their love, and boy, did they look happy together. But then, Jenner suddenly disappeared off the face of the Earth, and everyone started to worry about the couple. But it turns out, she was actually pregnant, and wanted to keep the news a secret!
“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness,” she explained in an Instagram announcement in February 2018. “Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1, and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this, I could burst! Thank you for understanding.”

They Had A Lot Of Positive Things To Say About One Another
In May 2018 they finally walked their first red carpet together as a couple (at the Met Gala), and boy, did they look amazing. Then, two months later, Jenner spilled a lot of tea on their relationship to GQ.
“We had a lot of downtime. It was organic. And we would just go to these random cities. We got to not be who we really were. Like, if we were in L.A., I feel like it would’ve been way different,” Jenner told the outlet about when they first started dating. “Everything happened for a reason. We weren’t going out as ‘Kylie and Trav.’ We would just be in Cleveland, walking the street for hours. We would go on walks, and no one would bother us.”
She also gushed to Vogue Australia about how Scott is as a father.
“We both experienced this for the first time, so I love learning together and just watching him with her. He’s so good with her and she’s really obsessed with him,” she explained, adding that although they don’t live together, they “never miss a night with each other.”
“We was just two kids, f**king around. Maybe, like, the first week, you don’t know if it’s real or a fling. Then the second week you’re like, ‘Whoa, I’m still talking to her, she’s responding, I’m responding. We ain’t run out of a thing to say.’ And it got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one.’ We’ll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up — I gotta propose in a fire way,” Scott told Rolling Stone during an interview. “People don’t understand how real my girl is. How ill she is. They have assumptions, bulls**t-a** remarks of what they think is going on. Nah, bro. Going into a situation like that, you’d think it would be a whole public fest. You never know. ‘Maybe she’s into all the photos, or worried about this and that.’ And then you realize motherf**kers is normal as possible. I realized what really mattered to her, which is none of this s**t. She’s the coolest motherf**ker of all time.”
Then, The Engagement Rumors Started
In August 2018, many fans thought that the pair may have gotten engaged after Scott was spotted in a jewelry store.
“Kylie and Travis have definitely discussed getting married and she has expressed what type of ring she would want Travis to buy her. It would definitely be over the top,” a source told E! News at the time. “They are not engaged right now but have talked about it, and it’s only a matter of time.”
Jenner fueled the speculation even more when she called the ASTROWORLD artist her “hubby” on her Instagram Stories. But Kris Jenner later explained that although things were “really terrific” for them, they weren’t getting married just yet.
Travis Scott Was Accused Of Cheating On Kylie Jenner In December 2018
In December 2018, fans started to worry that there was trouble in paradise when alleged pictures of Scott kissing another girl hit the web. But he quickly hit back at these claims and said that the photos were fake.
“Trolls always wanna create some fake s**t to destroy real love. GOING OVER BOARD TO MAKE S**T LOOK LIKE IT’S NOT IS EVIL. I hate acknowledging s**t, but quit trying to take joy from s**t that’s good. I pray God blocks out all evil,” he wrote on his Stories. Jenner added in a post of her own, “I don’t know if this is really a social experiment to some people but you’re messing with real people, real relationships, real family. I’m happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The internet scares me sometimes for real.”
Kylie Jenner Said She Wanted A Second Baby
Jenner sent the internet into a frenzy when she revealed during a Q&A with fans that she wanted another a baby one day.
“Am I going to have another baby? I want another baby, but when is the question,” she revealed. “I’m definitely not ready right this second and I don’t know when I will be. But yeah, when I do, I would love to share more of that with you guys. Have I thought of baby names for my next baby? I have, but I haven’t found anything that I love, love. But I definitely want another girl, hopefully, and I want her to have a really feminine name, that’s all I know.”
She also posted a super cute pic with Scott to her Instagram in February 2019, which she captioned, “Baby #2?” But when a fan asked if she was pregnant, she replied, “No lol.”

More Cheating Rumors Emerged In March 2019
Unfortunately, in March 2019, rumors started to circulate once again that Scott had been unfaithful to Jenner. At the time, he cancelled a concert due to an illness, but some reports claimed that he actually cancelled the show that he so that he could fly to L.A. and fix their relationship. He even deleted his entire Instagram account on the same day, and TMZ claimed that he took down the social media account to “prove his devotion” after Jenner found “overly friendly” DMs between him and some other women.
But things seemed to be all good with them one month later, since the brunette beauty shared a pic with Scott to her Instagram.

“Travis is really making an effort,” a source told People Magazine. “He wants Kylie to be happy. He wants her to know that he very much cares about their family.”
They continued, “Travis flew to L.A. in the middle of the night to spend time with Kylie. He is leaving for Atlanta Friday morning, where he has a show tonight. Kylie was very excited to see him. Things are great when they are together. Again, it’s just very difficult for Kylie when Travis tours.”
A few weeks later, they jetted off to Mexico together.
“Kylie and Travis have mended their relationship and are in a really good place now,” an insider dished to E! News after the trip. “They truly needed this vacation and alone time with one another.”
They Decided To Take A Break In October 2019
Things seemed to be going great between them after that — that is, until October 2019 when news hit the web that they were officially taking a break.
“As far as I know, they’re just taking a break, it’s not a full on split,” an insider told In Touch. “It wasn’t that long ago that Kylie was talking about having another baby with Travis, so this comes as a shock.”
But when pictures came out of Jenner hanging out with her ex Tyga and rumors started to emerge that she dumped Scott for him, she decided to speak out about it.
“The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is. There was no ‘2 A.M. date with Tyga.’ You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at,” she wrote on Twitter. “Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi. Our friendship and our daughter is priority.”
They’re On Good Terms Now
In the months that followed, they were spotted hanging out a few times with their daughter Stormi.
“They love each other and they share a daughter that will bind them together for life. They’ve been great partners in that respect. They are both putting aside any romantic differences to be the best parents in the world for their daughter,” an insider explained to Us Weekly. “They’re very passionate people. They realized that their passion for each other had waned in a romantic sense and it was time for a break. There’s no animosity, no ill will or any negative feelings at all right now.”
Jenner confirmed to Harper’s Bazaar in February 2020 that she and the 29-year-old were still broken up.
“We have such a great relationship,” she said. “We’re like best friends. We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated. I think about [my parents] in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”
But sources told E! News one month later that the two stars were spending the coronavirus quarantine together.
“Kylie really misses her sisters and her nieces and nephews, but it’s been nice having Travis around so much. He has been at Kylie’s house and they have been doing a lot of family stuff,” the insider dished. “Things are good between Kylie and Travis. They are co-parenting and in a groove. They love being a family together and watching Stormi who constantly amazes them and make them laugh. They love their little family life together.”
And in May 2021, Jenner jetted off to Miami to support Scott at his birthday bash. It’s unclear whether or not they’re back together or just friends, but no matter what we know that they will forever have a bond.
