Lala Kent announced she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Randall Emmett earlier this month on her podcast and at the end of last week, the movie producer and director shared her first pregnancy photo on his Instagram Stories.

Days after confirming the Vanderpump Rules cast member’s pregnancy on their podcast, Give Them Lala… With Randall, Randall posted a couple of photos of her sonogram, which gave his fans and followers their first look at the baby.

While Lala hasn’t been posting many images on her Instagram page since sharing her baby news, aside from some promotional images related to her beauty line, Give Them Lala Beauty, Randall has shared several, both on his Instagram Stories and on his Instagram page.

In addition to posting the image of Lala’s sonogram, Randall shared an image of himself and Lala enjoying a lunch date earlier this week.

Lala and Randall Began Dating in 2016

After Randall and Ambyr separated in 2015, Randall was introduced to the reality star.

“He actually came into SUR one night that I was hostessing,” Lala revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “He was having his holiday party there, and he sent his assistant up to me to ask for my manager’s number because they were casting for a film called The Row.”

“I went in for multiple auditions, and each time he was the jokester,” she continued. “I was like, ‘He’s cute.’ Like the way — I’ve never dated anybody like him, but, like, whatever he’s about, I’m feeling it. I’m not gonna fight it.”

After landing a role in Randall’s The Row, which came out in July 2018, Lala met up with the movie master in New York City and the two of them embarked on their very first date.

“I let him hit it first night and the rest is just history,” Lala admitted. “Honestly, I knew I was gonna be with him forever when we had first done the deed, and then I got into the bath and I was broken out at that time — I had the worst weave in the world — and I get out of the tub, fresh-faced, and he was like, ‘You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.’ And to me that meant, like — ‘cause clearly, I was not, physically, the most beautiful person he has ever seen! — but I was like, ‘OK. I feel like I can be myself with this person.’ I had never felt that before.”

According to Lala, she always felt like she had to be “on” with people but when it came to Randall, she didn’t have to act.

“He just lets my crazy fly,” she joked. “He just deals with me like a champion. He reminds me — and this sounds so weird, ‘cause I don’t want to be that girl that’s like, ‘He reminds me of my dad,’ but he does. My dad treated my mom like a queen and I just found that quality, ‘cause I just adored my dad so much.”

Kent and Emmett Got Engaged in 2018

Just over two years ago, Randall took Lala to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in honor of her birthday and during the trip, he proposed.

“It was definitely the most romantic moment of my life. Every detail of the surprise was stunning,” Lala gushed to People after the engagement. “We are so excited to start planning the rest of our lives together.”

While Lala tragically and suddenly lost her father months prior, she knew her dad was with her during her happy moment.

“I immediately started to think I can’t wait to tell my parents we are engaged! I looked up in the sky at that exact moment and saw one bright star gleaming,” she shared.

Randall was also able to ask her father’s permission to marry her prior to his April 2018 passing.

“Randall had told me that he had asked my dad permission to marry me earlier this year before my father passed away which is such an incredible gift because I lost my dad suddenly,” Lala explained. “I believe my father was definitely with us last night in spirit, which makes me even happier and our parents are thrilled!”

While Lala didn’t reveal any exact details regarding her future wedding at the time, she told the magazine that she was excited to put as much detail as Randall did in their engagement into their wedding.

The Couple Postponed Their April 2020 Wedding

Following their engagement, Lala and Randall confirmed plans to wed on Saturday, April 18, 2020. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were forced to cancel their big day and opt for a different date.

In the months that followed the postponement, Lala and Randall attempted to make their wedding happen on a couple of different occasions before ultimately deciding they would wait until next year to wed.

Last month, during an interview with Us Weekly magazine, Randall confirmed that he and Lala have chosen a new date in “July 2021” before revealing that he and Lala  were “working on” starting a family in the meantime.

“We both said we wanted to have this fairy-tale kind of wedding. And I think for us, you know, it to be the moment where everybody experiences it at the same time as us,” he shared.

During a separate interview with the magazine in November of last year, Randall opened up about his plans for a “big wedding.”

“At the start I was like, ’Sh*t, what did I get myself into?’ And now I’m overwhelmed and just like, ‘Lala, you win. Whatever you say.’ It’s like producing a movie and the thing is, you only get one take and if it goes bad, we’re all screwed and we have to remember this forever and it sets your marriage up, so I was like, ‘Babe, please. I’m gonna put it all on you. Make all the decisions,’” Randall admitted.

While Randall said he was very involved with picking the venue, he later began focusing on the entertainment and performers portion of their ceremony.

As Lala confirmed, Randall is in charge of their entertainment and their budget.

“I don’t want to know about chairs, colors, people, sh*t, seating … we went to a food tasting and I was like, ‘Is this for real?’ They brought everything that’s good. I was like, ‘Bring me a whopper. Bring me a Wendy’s sandwich,’” he joked. “‘Lala, pick what you like.’ Now I’ve left it to her and I just want it to be a magical day.”

Although Lala and Randall initially planned to get married in Miami, they have since moved their wedding to Newport Beach, California, which was one of Lala’s dad’s favorite spots.
