Lamar Odom is seen on his way to visit troubled Bam Margera at a treatment facility after racing to his side to offer him a place at one of his California rehab centers. The basketball star, 43, was pictured with his manager Gina Rodriguez arriving at the building in LA just days after the former Jackass star was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. The pair arrived at the property on the afternoon of June 6 where it is believed Lamar was set to try and help turn Bam's life around. The ex-Lakers player, who previously experienced his own battles with drugs, recently invested in three drug treatment centers and it is believed there is space at one of the wellness clinics for for Bam if he chooses to accept his help. 06 Jun 2023 Pictured: Lamar Odom. Lamar Odom is again trying to convince Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes to help her son through Odom’s rehab treatment centers. Leakes’ son, Bryson Bryant, was released from jail earlier this month after he was arrested on fentanyl charges. And now he will need a follow-up program to keep him clean from drugs and out of jail. Odom hopes that he can make that happen for Leakes’ family.

Odom Launched Odom Recovery Group

Former NBA superstar Lamar Odom nearly lost his life to a major drug overdose in 2015. After he survived, Odom felt a new calling to help others. He partnered with Dontae Ralston and Dennis Martinez to launch the Odom Recovery Group. Together, they purchased three foundering rehab centers located in San Diego, El Cajon, and Lemon Grove.

After opening three centers in San Diego over the summer, Odom told CBS8, “… opening rehab centers was just I guess, would be like an act of God.” The centers and his memoir, Darkness to Light: A Memoir, have helped him find purpose in life. He told the outlet, “I get more gratification and people coming up to me telling me that they read the book and it got them out of the dark so they can relate to it because they were drug addicts and they lost a lot. I get more of a good feeling than I did from people telling me how they loved watching me play on the Lakers.”

Next, he hopes to open treatment centers around the world. Odom likes to identify someone who has a problem, and then provide help; it’s just that simple. Recently, one of the most high-profile recipients of treatment at his facilities was Jackass star Bam Margera.

And this isn’t the first time Lamar Odom has offered to help Bryson Bryant. When Bryant was first arrested on fentanyl charges, Odom reportedly reached out to offer help at one of his rehab centers.

According to RadarOnline, Odom considers NeNe Leakes to be a friend after they appeared together on BET’s College Hill. Bryant was released from jail on October 5. And Odom reached out again this week to Leakes to make sure she knows his offer is still good. According to Radar, however, Leakes has not responded to his offers.

Often times when a family member is arrested on drug charges, especially in high-profile families, the struggle with how to handle the aftermath is intense. Some families opt to ignore it altogether and continue life as usual. They might ignore questions posed to them by paparazzi and continue public engagements. Other family members might release statements, or go into lockdown to preserve their already-limited privacy.

It’s unclear now which way the Leakes family will go moving forward. For now, all Lamar Odom can do is offer help and hope NeNe Leakes encourages her son to take it.
