Las Vegas, one of the world's greatest hubs of hospitality and fine dining, is about to welcome Toca Madera. The modern Mexican steakhouse transports guests into a modern and timeless world where they receive an unmatched sensory experience of dining, sounds, and visuals. The upscale restaurant first opened in West Hollywood in 2015 and has since expanded with Toca Madera Scottsdale, Madera at the Treehouse London, and Hotel Figueroa DTLA. Co-owners, Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha established Noble 33, a hospitality group, where each location lies, including the new $10 million Vegas location.

On Tuesday, August 9, Toca Madera Las Vegas opens its doors, bringing an elevated, high-energy atmosphere with superior dining and nightly live entertainment to the guests and residents of Sin City.

An Elevated Experience From the Moment You Enter

“We curate and develop everything that you hear, touch, feel and see. Everything is custom and bespoke. We create all the furniture. We design all the light fixtures. We develop all the music,” Berman previously shared.

Step into 10,000 square feet of a transcending multi-sensory dining experience designed by Monochrome and inspired by the restaurant's Mexican cuisine. Its modern and organic aesthetic withholds "bold architectural elements combined with warm luxurious finished of handcrafted custom woodwork, plush velvet upholsteries, intimate lighting, and a biophilic design," writes a press release.

An immersive art piece, 'The Bird's Nest,' draws guests inside at the grand entry point. Its stunning nest-like structure features rich green trees and a reflecting pond. Throughout the restaurant are more one-of-a-kind works of art, structures and photographs, commissioned by Monochrome as well.

As for your auditory senses, Noble 33's VP of Marketing, Dan Whitfield, developed the brand's own unique sound and styling. Whitfield curated a seductive mix of deep, melodic and Afro-Latin house music all consciously selected from a roster of local and international resident DJs, many of whom have debuted their newest tracks and exclusive remixes at existing Toca Madera locations, according to the press release. This unique sonic trip will often be accompanied by live musicians, setting the vibe for an exceptional dining experience.

The new menu being debuted at Toca Madera Las Vegas will feature guest favorites such as Sashimi Mexicano with ahi tuna, cucumber, avocado, pomegranate, chile de árbol, and leche de tigre. Next to those will be new offerings created by Noble 33 Corporate Executive Chef, Aj Mcloud, including the A5 Wagyu Tacos with crispy wonton, jalapeño slaw, pickled horseradish, cilantro, and kizami wasabi.

Additional Toca Madera menu highlights include:

  • Osetra Caviar: sieved egg, chive, shallot, lemon crème fraiche, tostones
  • Wagyu Enchilada: slow braised short rib, queso oaxaca – roja or suiza
  • Truffle Burger: wagyu beef blend, wagyu short rib, truffle gouda, caramelized mushrooms, fresh black truffle
  • Diver Scallops: ahi amarillo salsa, chimichurri, lime roasted pepita
  • Strawberry Tres Leches: sweet vanilla tres leches with strawberry whippd cream
  • Dama: chocolate skull, peanut butter mousse, raspberry coulis, fresh raspberries

And, like every experience inside the restaurant, the befitting menu offers premium Australian and Japanese beef, all carefully selected. Enjoy Wagyu, Kobe, and Prime steak options ranging from 2 ounces to 40 ounces. Tomahawk + Bone Marrow will also be served, flaming and floating over salsa verde, brought to your table it will be presented and sliced by a chef. And, the Kobe Flight of 3 with Japanese A5, Olive Kobe, and Japanese A5 ‘True’ Kobe will be presented on a sizzling Japanese stone.

Carla Lorenzo, the Beverage Director, leads a dynamic farm-to-glass mixology program that emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients all while offering a versatile selection of tequila and mezcal.

Cocktail Menu Highlights include:

  • Los Muertos: el tesoro reposado barrel select, blood orange, lime, activated charcoal agave, hibiscus
  • La Morada: Sipsmith gin, dolin blanc, blackberry mezcal, st. germain, oleo, grapefruit sphere
  • Como la Flor: codigo rosa, fino sherry, lemon, guava, coconut, licor 43, bitters, rose air
  • Caviar Martini: Castelvetrano infused gin, olive oil washed dolin dry, orange bitter, fennel; Served with Caviar, edible gold, fennel scented air

Extraordinary Hospitality Seven Days A Week

The 200-plus seat restaurant will be open seven days a weekm from 4 PM to 12 AM Sunday through Wednesday, and 4 PM to 1 AM Thursday through Saturday.

Beyond the restaurant experience is a lounge and a hidden speakeasy which can be an extended dining space, and and after-hours lounge or a private area for special events. The co-owners are using the lounge and speakeasy space as an opportunity to blend their past work in hospitality with their new endeavors, Berman stating, “At some point, you grow out of that scene and you have to start evolving the way you look at hospitality. While I loved certain elements of nightlife, the late nights and the overconsumption of alcohol and all the things that go along with it were becoming elements of my past." He continued to add, “While we have a DJ and theatrics and all those things, at the end of the day, we’re not a nightclub. But we can be a nightlife alternative for a more sophisticated and older demographic as we want the restaurant to be fun, engaging and to be exciting for people.”

Concluding the press release, Berman shared, “As Toca Madera’s national presence expands, we’re emphasizing the characteristics that our patrons love, which is creating memorable experiences, pushing the boundaries with our cuisine and cocktails, and sourcing the best ingredients to elevate the consumer experience."
