March Madness. And in typical Vegas style, the city is doing it up big. It seems like every venue is offers a supersized celebration for the March Hoops extravaganza, and the city is in full “deep breath after the plunge” mode now that they’re on the path to normalcy. Fremont Street Comes Alive

Las Vegas March Madness

The Fremont Street Experience is celebrating big with the city’s energy. A media release explains, “To celebrate the return of college basketball’s biggest tournament of the season, Fremont Street Experience revealed the world’s largest tournament bracket totaling over 130,000 square feet in downtown Las Vegas. Now through Monday, April 5, the six-block entertainment district will keep fans updated daily with a special, larger-than-life visual which will run every 15 minutes on the world’s largest single video screen, Viva Vision. With direct pedestrian access to eight of Fremont Street’s world-renowned casino hotels and more than 70 bars and restaurants, Fremont Street Experience is the ideal location for visitors and locals alike to cheer on their favorite college teams and experience the tournament madness.”

Every 15 minutes, the brackets will be displayed on Viva Vision — the world’s largest single TV screen. Viva Vision is 1,500 feet long, 90 feet wide and suspended 90 feet above the urban pedestrian mall. Circa Resort and Casino and D Las Vegas Offer Mega-Sized Celebrations

The Circa Resort and Casino and D Las Vegas are both offering signature experiences in March Madness scale. The Circa will offer stadium-style viewing on their poolside mega screen, with swim-up bars and a variety of tailored dining experiences. A media release about the event shares, “Tipping off for the first time, will welcome basketball fans for March Hoops viewings beginning March 27. Hosting daily watch events during the tournament, the adults-only casino-resort will give guests the chance to party in style, ranging from VIP seating at the world’s largest sportsbook to cabanas at its high-energy pool amphitheater, Stadium Swim. Additionally, will host its own set of celebrations throughout the tournament.”

AREA15 Utilizing Futuristic Tech and Five Iron Golf Temporarily Switches Sports

AREA15, the arts and entertainment district minutes from downtown, has an exciting hoops lineup and more to come. A media release joyfully shares, “[Today]: Make The PORTAL home court for the entire day at Las Vegas’ ultimate sports viewing experience. Watch the games in a 360-degree projection-mapped room, surrounded by broadcast footage the first round of the March tournament games while enjoying bottomless beers and a game-day menu from The Beast by Todd English. Must be 21 years of age or older to enter.”

The celebration lasts today through 9 P.M.

The Venetian Brings Signature Style to Hoops Celebration

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority shares the Venetian‘s plan to join the festivities. “Assemble the crew for your own basketball viewing party at Electra Cocktail Club inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. From Thursday, March 18 to Sunday, March 21 Electra’s stadium-style seating and 40-foot digital screen is the best spot to experience the mayhem, so reserve a package, enjoy the madness, and celebrate your favorite college basketball team. Electra’s cocktail menu and group beverage packages are available, along with food offerings from Moon Palace by David Chang and BRERA Osteria.”

Also, “Restaurants throughout the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas are going for a slam dunk with flavor and specials. Starting Thursday, March 18, Mercato della Pescheria will show the college basketball games, including the Final Four, in its lounge, along with a new specialty drink each week of the playoffs. From Friday, March 19 through Sunday, March 21 enjoy a special menu at the new BRERA Osteria. Sugarcane Raw Bar & Grill will host a watch party starting Thursday, March 18. Through the weekend, guests can catch the games on multiple big-screen TVs around the restaurant. Guests can also catch all the action at Trustworthy Brewing Co. along with drink specials and special breakfast menu Friday, March 19 through Saturday, March 20.”
