Singer Lenny Kravitz is known for his soulful voice. But he has some skills in other areas too; namely, acting. Born in 1964 in New York, Kravitz is the son of Ukrainian-Jewish American NBC television news producer Sy Kravitz, and Bahamian American actress Roxie Roker. From a young age, the aspiring musician immersed himself in the world of creative expression.
As an adult, Kravitz has become known for his roles in movies like The Hunger Games, Precious, and The Butler. And as a singer, Kravitz has dominated multiple categories of music with his unique and genre-bending style. Kravitz released his first album Let Love Rule in 1989. While it achieved some success, he didn’t have a breakout moment until 1991 with the release of his second album, Mama Said. Mama Said made it to the Billboard Top 40 and was followed by Are You Gonna Go My Way in 1993. My Way reached #12 on the Billboard 200, and awards started rolling in for Kravitz that same year.
In 2000, Kravitz became a superstar again with the release of his version of The Guess Who’s “American Woman.” He won Best Male Rock Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards for that song, which was one of the most popular tunes of the year. Since then, Kravitz’s album releases have totaled 9 – and he’s not done yet. His upcoming album, Blue Electric Light, is expected to drop on March 15.

To get people hyped for that album drop, Lenny Kravitz released a suave music video for his song “TK421.” The song is expected to be featured on Blue Electric Light.
In “TK421,” the video opens to Kravitz lying in bed, nude. He rolls over as the song starts up, abandoning his blankets. From there, Kravitz dances, smokes a cigarette, and washes his body. In the video, Kravitz later appears fully clothed in a leather outfit, dancing and singing to the song.
The lyrics for “TK421” read in part, “All aboard, now it’s time to face your fear/ The conversations in your mind/ You can tell me how it really makes you feel/ And I will promise you it will be fine,” he sings. “Come on baby, get 421 (421)/ Can you feel it, my TK421 /Look out baby, try 421 (421)/ So much better, with my TK421.”
