Lisa Rinna sparked major buzz regarding her future on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she shared a seemingly telling meme on Instagram on Tuesday night after Teddi Mellencamp confirmed her exit from the show. On the heels of Teddi’s departure, as well as that of Denise Richards, who confirmed she would not be moving on with the Bravo reality series earlier this month, Lisa prompted rumors of her own potential exit. “[The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills] might be over but the memory of Lisa Rinna’s wigs will live on forever,” Lisa’s meme, which was shared on September 22, read. Because two cast members had just confirmed they would not be appearing on the show’s possible 11th season, a number of fans took the message as a signal that series was coming to an end for good. Meanwhile, other commenters believed Lisa’s meme was referring to the end of her years-long stint. “Are you the next to be fired?” one person asked in response to the post. “Wait, Rinna we only heard about Teddi not being renewed, are you out of is the show done altogether?” wondered another. As the comments flooded in, concern grew amongst Lisa’s fans and followers who wanted her to share more about whether or not she was leaving the show, and if the show was over. Unfortunately, she instead hose to stay silent as her online audience speculated about the future. “Please tell me this is just you mean the season is over,” a fan begged. “WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! The season is over?! The franchise?! You?!!” questioned someone else. While some people were a bit shady with their comments, warning Lisa that after Teddi got the boot, she may too, others expressed interest in Lisa staying on the show and suggested she was the main reason they continue to tune in. “What?? Noooo! You’re the only one bringing any content!” said one person.
Years ago, Lisa and her husband, actor Harry Hamlin, garnered backlash after dressing up as Sex Pistols singer Sid Vicious and his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen. While the couple dressing up as Sid and Nancy was far from controversial, the fact that Harry was wearing a swastika T-shirt as part of his outfit garnered him and Lisa tons of backlash, and understandably so. The outfit also got the attention of Denise, who liked a post on Twitter that suggested Lisa was a “racist.” “Absolutely [fire] [Lisa Rinna]. She’s not only a bully but she claims she’s not racist. There’s proof in photos and this says otherwise. Go pat your [p*****] somewhere else and take Erika Jayne with you. Has [Erika Jayne] apologized to Sami and Lola yet??? Or to [Denise Richards]?” the tweet read. Weeks after Denise liked the tweet, Lisa and Erika called her out at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion for seemingly attempting to get Lisa fired from her full-time position on the show. “[Have you] seen how the fans have come at us?” Lisa asked her now-ex-co-star. “Of course she did. She ‘liked’ it. She ‘liked’ a couple of comments,” Erika replied. After hearing what her co-star had to say, and being faced with a screenshot of her “liked” post at the reunion, Denise insisted to Andy Cohen that she didn’t mean to “like” the tweet that called for Lisa to be fired. Instead, she claimed she accidentally “liked” the post because of what it said about Erika. As fans will recall, Denise took issue with Erika early on during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 after she mentioned her experience with threesomes at a party thrown at her Malibu home, which her children attended. A short time after the party, Denise took Erika to lunch, where she reprimanded her co-star for engaging in such adult conversations in front of her kids.
