Restaurateur, television star and philanthropist Lisa Vanderpump is expanding her brand in Las Vegas. After the wild success of her first Vegas restaurant, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace, the reality star knew it was time to expand. This time, the brand is opening a venue at Paris las Vegas, and it promises to be just as unique and classy as the first.
Vanderpump à Paris
The Vanderpump à Paris is going to be a stunning destination, with “delectable dishes, whimsical and unique cocktails, and a lush, elaborate atmosphere with eclectic, Parisian-inspired design details.” From the moment you step foot in the restaurant, you will be transported across the Atlantic to the city of lights. Vanderpump, husband Ken Todd, and designer Nick Alain have collaborated to bring their dream of this venue to life, with every touch carefully handpicked and molded to whisk guests away on an evening’s trip to Paris.
Vanderpump’s press team shared this statement from the entrepreneur herself; “We are so excited to be expanding in Las Vegas, and Vanderpump à Paris has been a passion project of ours for a long time. Vanderpump Cocktail Garden has been such a huge success and working with Caesars has been a wonderful experience; we can’t wait to bring another concept to life under their umbrella. After living in France for many years, it has been such an incredible journey to make our ideas a reality and, working with our extraordinary design partner Nick Alain, we have created a design unlike anything we’ve ever seen, with epic visual statements – it is our hope to bring the stunning visuals of Paris into the heart of Las Vegas. The food will be sexy and delicious, the cocktails exquisite and unique, and the overall experience will be one that is unforgettable! It’s really been a labor of love and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
The Vanderpump restaurant is going to have a menu that blends classic Parisian dishes with light eats, and playful twists on beloved dishes. Cocktails are all crafted specially to heighten the atmosphere, with some old familiars and new favorites gracing the menu. The drink menu will include the Vanderpump Family’s signature branded Rosé, Chardonnay and Cabernet. The restaurant is expected to seat around 200 and includes ornate Parisian awnings, hand-picked light fixtures, statues, and other touches from the Vanderpump Alain design line.
The exact opening date hasn’t been shared yet, but the restaurant is expected to open sometime this Winter.
Vanderpump Cocktail Garden
Vanderpump à Paris follows on the heels of Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, which opened in Vegas’ Caesars Palace 2.5 years ago. Since then, that restaurant’s popularity has grown as people flock to the fun atmosphere for a perfect Las Vegas evening. Speaking with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Vanderpump shared about the Caesars Palace location: “We have created a unique, decadent space with a majestic feel where guests can relax in a sexy garden oasis, from the design and ambiance (featuring the incredible Nick Alain lighting, fixtures and furniture) to the selection of light bites and cocktails, I am proud of what we created and hope everyone will enjoy the experience as much as we do!”
The Vanderpump Cocktail Garden takes advantage of the Greco-Roman tall architectural ceilings and pink/purple lighting to set a cool, sexy, atmosphere with complex and visually stunning accent decor. This location also includes the Vanderpump family wines and a hand-picked menu that compliments the elegant, whimsical atmosphere.
The Vanderpump Brand
The Vegas locations are just two of the newest Vanderpump restaurants. The brand has expanded across the world over the past 30 years, opening and closing locations in a variety of cities. And perhaps the best known is SUR Lounge, where Vanderpump Rules is filmed. VelvetRopes writes, “SUR Lounge is the home of Vanderpump Rules and all its drama. This Lisa Vanderpump-designed restaurant and lounge serves South-European cuisine in a candle-lit setting on the prestigious corner of Melrose and Robertson in the heart of West Hollywood. Split into two separate sections, the colorfully-lit SUR Lounge on one side serving up the drinks made famous by the Vanerpump Rules cast and high-end SUR Restaurant on the other with a distinct royal glam vibe. The cast doesn’t ‘work’ there unless the cameras are rolling, but if you’re lucky, you may catch them filming an episode during your visit!”
While there has been some behind-the-scene drama and back-and-forth with staff, for the most part the brand has just continued to grow and blossom. With this new Vegas location, the Vanderpump brand continues to cement its place at the top of West Coast restaurants. Vanderpump à Paris promises to be elegant, whimsical, delicious, and fun. A perfect night out for Vegas visitors and locals; coming soon to Paris Las Vegas.
