Ain't no party like a Miami party, 'cause a Miami party don't stop.
Known for a vibrant nightlife and a hospitality scene like few places on the earth can rival, Miami is quickly becoming one of the world's preeminent places to spend the midnight hours and beyond.
Locals and travelers alike know that nothing winds down at 11PM – it's all just getting started.
At least that was the story this weekend after one aptly named artist – The Weeknd – went from concert to club, keeping the party going for himself and fans as he took the stage with Kaytranada at LIV Miami.
A Surprising Takeover by Kaytranada, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes

Saturday night, The Weeknd was tearing it up on the stage in Miami.
But then he went straight from his sold-out concert to LIV Miami around 2AM, and kept the party going through the night.
Kaytranada was playing a scheduled performance at the Miami hotspot, when he was joined by the award-winning superstar.
After arriving, The Weeknd went straight to the DJ booth to join Kaytranada, and they were in turn joined by hospitality leader David Grutman and pop sensation Shawn Mendes.
A Weekend with The Weeknd

It all went down after The Weeknd rocked the world for a sold-out audience at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Known for being a superstar performer, The Weeknd was dressed in all black including a black t-shirt, black vest, black gloves, and large black sunglasses.
When he continued the night's festivities at LIV Miami, The Weeknd seemed cool and confident, clearly amped by his success on stage across town.
Mendes joined the two stars at the DJ booth dressed in a white t-shirt, with his signature mop of curls draped artfully over his face.
The surprise team-up is exactly the kind of star power LIV Miami is known for. It's one of Miami's biggest and most famous nightlife destinations in the city which has quickly risen to rival hospitality hotspots like Las Vegas, New York City and Los Angeles.
LIV exists in what used to be the La Ronde Room, where legends performed such as Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Ann Miller, Elvis Presley and Tony Bennett.
The Weeknd's "surprise" performance is no surprise to those who know the Miami scene well, but it was a delight nonetheless. Kaytranada was a gracious host and the two seemed to have a blast together – bringing the house down from the DJ booth.
