What Do We Know About Louis Tomlinson’s Festival?

The Away From Home Festival will take place on August 30, 2021, and will also feature The Snuts, Bilk and special guest DJ Jess Iszatt. It’ll go down at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London, England — but want to know the best part? All tickets are free! Yep, you can register for a chance to win tickets here.

“I’ve been sat on this idea for the last 12 months at least and now to see it come to life makes me very excited. Personally, playing live shows is the best part of what I do and it’s been far too long since I’ve seen you all so I wanted to put this festival on to say thank you for all of your support and celebrate the return of music,” he wrote on Twitter. “Can’t wait to get back in with the band. I’ve got a really good feeling it’s going to be a really special night. We all deserve that!”

To enter the competition you must be over 16 years old. The event is open to 14 and up, however under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Each winner will get two tickets, and all tickets are for personal use and are non transferable. The prize draw begins at 4 P.M. BST on July 29, 2021 and ends at 2 P.M. BST on August 5, 2021. Entries received after this time will not be included. There are 3750 pairs (2 tickets) of tickets available in total. To attend, you must either show proof of a COVID vaccine or a negative test taken within 48 hours of the show. Social distancing will not be enforced on-site and masks are not required after you show your proof of vaccine or negative COVID test.

“We would still recommend all attendees to wear masks in areas of high density however this will not be enforced,” the website reads.

What about people who don’t live near England and can’t attend, you ask? Well, not to worry, you guys, because the One Direction member revealed on Twitter that they’re going to film the entire thing and post it online a few days later for people to watch!

“Yeah a few days after the event. More details on that to follow,” he replied when a fan asked him if it will be livestreamed.

He also said that he’s “hoping for it to be an annual thing” — yes please!

What Else Has Louis Tomlinson Been Up To Recently?

Louis Tomlinson

Back in June 2021, the entire internet went into a frenzy when news hit the web that Tomlinson may be heading to the big screen! Get this — screenwriter Adrian Butchart, who is currently working on the upcoming movie about Jamie Vardy, reportedly confirmed that the “Walls” crooner is in talks to play the soccer star. According to a Twitter account called Film Updates, Tomlinson isn’t the only one being eyed for the role. Yep, Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron are also allegedly being considered for the part, and TBH, all three of them would be perfect for the role! The social media account has also reported that the movie will focus “his time at Leicester City” and will be produced by Gareth-Ellis Unwin and Simon Egan.

For those who don’t know who Vardy is, he signed with Leicester City in 2012, and boy, has he accomplished a lot. He helped the team win the Championship in 2014, and in the 2015–16 Premier League season, he was voted the Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year after he scored in 11 consecutive matches. He also won the Premier League Golden Boot for the 2019–20 season.

What About His New Music?

Louis Tomlinson

Over the last few months, Tomlinson has been pretty vocal on Twitter about the fact that he’s hard at work on his second album. He’s constantly sharing messages about being in the studio and writing new songs, and when a fan asked the star when we could expect his music to drop, he said it will probably come out sometime this year.

“Assuming ’21 [but] who knows,” he said.

While chatting with Telegraph in a recent interview, the 1D heartthrob explained that the pandemic has given him time to “really get into what I want to say” on his new album.

“I’m very, very excited. I had basically penciled down a plan before corona took over our lives,” he explained. “And now it’s kind of given me a little bit of time to really get into what I want to say and what I want things to sound like.”

When asked about the sound, Tomlinson said that fans can expect it to be a lot like his hit song “Kill My Mind.”

“There’s a certain energy in that song, in its delivery, in its attitude, that I want to recreate,” he continued. “People are struggling at the moment, so I want to create a raucous, exciting atmosphere in my live show, not a somber, thoughtful one.”

He also revealed via Twitter that he wants to start his own management team and make a documentary. Plus, he’s set to go on his debut world tour next year — so there’s a lot of stuff for us Tomlinson fans to get excited about!
