Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly split over where they should live. Their lives have entered a new stage. With the royal life fading in the rearview mirror, the couple has to find ways to make a living and move forward. For Markle, that could mean a return to the small screen and her impressive acting career. For Harry, that could mean more non-profit work and focus on charities. Both career paths can be done on either coast. But it’s undeniable that California is the best place to be for a Hollywood star. And for philanthropists, there’s no place like New York.
Meghan And Harry Could Disappoint The King This Christmas

This year will mark King Charles‘ first Christmas on the throne. Last Yuletide, Queen Elizabeth had just passed away a few months prior. So the family’s traditions were a little askew anyway. But this year, with things back to normal and Charles celebrating his first big Christmas, one would expect Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to make an appearance.
Yet one royal expert is betting that they won’t. Historian and royal expert Dr Tessa Dunlop recently spoke with The Mirror. And she believes this won’t be the case again this year.
Dunlop told the outlet, “Christmas is coming and we want Meghan and Harry to inject the Windsor brand with a bit of transatlantic tension. But don’t hold your breath, just as Harry was a no-show at Balmoral this summer it is unlikely that he’ll grace Sandringham with his presence.”
Rumors have been dogging the pair that Harry is pining for his old life in England. And now that Harry and Meghan no longer have access to their once-marital home at Frogmore, they may buy somewhere to use when they visit the country. Dunlop added, “Far from buying a penthouse near London, it doesn’t even look like King Charles will get a Christmas cuddle with those absent grandchildren.” She suspects the pair will “branch out and buy somewhere of their own” because of a “mission driven by homesick Harry.”

But where that “Somewhere of their own” will end up being apparently varies depending on whether you ask Prince Harry or Meghan Markle.
OK! Magazine reports that an insider says Harry is considering buying a place in New York to be closer to England. Meghan, on the other hand, is not keen on leaving the West Coast. The outlet reports that she “Could not imagine” leaving California and their newly-formed Montecito roots.
In a recent GBNews appearance, socialite Lady Colin Campbell verbally rolled her eyes at the chatter. She scoffed, “You know, anybody who believes all of this pap has no clue at all. A few weeks ago it was Malibu, a few months ago they were moving to Montecito, then it was New York. They keep on changing where it’s going to be.”
According to Campbell, Harry is still considering a move back to sunny ol’ England. “If they move, Harry will be staying here sometimes because it suits him in terms of his status as a counselor of state and a possible regent should anything happen to William in the future.” She concluded with disdain, “But I think it’s all a load of [nonsense]. I suspect that Harry knows his place as it’s very much head under Meghan‘s heel.”
Which makes it sound like they’re staying in California. At least for now.
