You can almost hear the fanfare of trumpets as the opening date for Resorts World in Las Vegas approaches. Day by day, the mammoth Las Vegas property is inching closer to opening its doors for the first time and welcoming both locals and travelers. The city-within-a-city project has announced its superstar headliner for the grand opening. The first in a long line of mega-stars gracing the Resorts World venue, the headliner is none other than Miley Cyrus. She is far from alone in turning Resorts World into the hottest spot in Vegas; Nik Richie is hosting the new RWLV clubs this summer as well.

Zouk Group, who runs day life and nightlife at Resorts World, has shown up to Vegas meaning business, and their headlining roster for 2021 proves they are a force to be reckoned with. Zouk residencies for the summer include Tiesto and Zedd. In the fall, Resorts World headliners Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Celine Dion take over the theater.

But they may have saved their best announcement for last with Cyrus. Although RWLV opens June 24, the grand opening will happen on July 4. The concert will be shared on Resorts World’s 100,000-square foot LED screen to allow Las Vegas Boulevard onlookers and partygoers to get in on the excitement. Cyrus is known for making every show spectacular, making her the perfect headliner for the grand opening.

The show will go down 9 p.m. on July 4 at Ayu Dayclub, one of the state-of-the-art new venues at Resorts World. And Paris Hilton will be manning the DJ booth poolside at the opening on June 24. Las Vegas Review Journal reports that Hilton was spotted snapping pics at the property alongside Jeff Beacher, formerly of Beacher’s Madhouse fame, now a wildly successful entrepreneur and Kelly Osbourne bestie. Uncle Kracker and Darius Rucker are also lined up for opening weekend, with RWLV’s President Scott Sibella planning an extravaganza to open the doors.

Nik Richie Hosting at Ayu

Cyrus isn’t the only one rocking Resorts World in July. Nik Richie will be hosting Ayu Dayclub July 3. Richie shared on Instagram, “When the style of life becomes your lifestyle, one must adapt to a beauty within. I cannot tell you which beast is more majestic, that is for you to decide. However, I can tell you I will be at Ayu for opening day on a horse. July 3, 2021 we will be heroes again.”

With the knowledge they’ve gained dominating the hospitality industry in Singapore and beyond, Zouk Group has come to Vegas prepared to go big. Resorts World is nothing if not big; with 3,500 rooms, premiere dining locations, a number of entertainment and nightlife venues, and an indoor shopping market, Resorts World truly is a small city unto itself.

What was once considered an ambitious pipe dream is now reality and the doors open June 24. With stars coming from across the world to gather and wow audiences, and the best cuisine and hospitality experts collaborating to delight, Resorts World is going to be something the world has never seen before. It’s easy enough to say that, but they’ve actually somehow done it.
