Are Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles about to be Hollywood’s hottest new couple?! That seems to be the question on everyone’s minds after the “Wrecking Ball” songstress admitted that she totally wants to date the One Direction member. Wow, how iconic would that be?!
Yep, during a recent interview with the UK-based radio station Heart FM, the blonde beauty played a game of “Would You Rather. And when she was asked if she’d rather kiss Justin Bieber or Styles, her answer was everything.
“Harry,” she quickly replied, adding that she’s known the Biebs for so long that he’s “like family” to her.
“[Styles] is looking really good. Really good,” the pop star continued. “And we have very similar taste. Sharing a closet, sharing a life together, it just makes sense.”
OK, we are so here for this pairing! And when the radio host offered to get them in touch, Cyrus was all for it. She responded with a laugh, “Everyone is always playing cupid for me these days!”

It Appears That Harry Styles Is Single At The Moment
So could these two enter into a relationship? Well, it appears that Styles — who has been linked to stars like Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne over the years — is currently single, so there’s definitely a chance! As fans know, the “Sign of the Times” crooner hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone since Kiko Mizuhara in January 2019. At the time, he didn’t speak out about the relationship, but he was living in Tokyo and spotted spending a lot of time with the model. But the couple seemed to go their separate ways after he returned home to the U.K. a few months later.
In October 2020, however, the 26-year-old was spotted on what appeared to be a romantic dinner date with a mystery girl. In photos obtained by DailyMail, the singer was seen wearing a khaki jacket and gray pants as he entered a restaurant in Los Angeles, CA, alongside the unknown blonde. She donned black jeans and a white t-shirt for the outing. They both wore face masks. Her identity is still unknown and they haven’t been seen together since, so it’s still unclear if they are just friends or if anything is going on between them.

As for Cyrus, she and her boyfriend, Cody Simpson, announced their split in August 2020, after a year together.
“Today, it came out that me and my boyfriend had broken up. It was ‘confirmed by a reliable source,’ although no one is reliable in a relationship, except the two individuals participating in it. But for right now, two halves cannot make a whole and we’re individually just working on ourselves to become the people that we want to be,” Cyrus explained during an Instagram Live at the time. “Like everyone else at this age, we’re deciding who we want to be and what we want to do with our lives. So don’t make it some drama story if next week we’re spotted hanging out or getting pizza. We’ve been friends for 10 years and will continue to be friends. Don’t make it something that it is not.”
Before that, she dated Liam Hemsworth on and off for 10 years.
Harry Styles Is A Big Fan Of Miley Cyrus
It’s actually no secret that Styles is a big fan of Cyrus’ and get this — he’s even attended a few of her concerts over the years! Plus, the 1D heartthrob actually dressed up as the Hannah Montana alum for Halloween once! Back in 2013, sources even told Metro UK that Styles was “obsessed” with Cyrus.
“It’s no secret in Harry’s circle that he’s pretty obsessed with Miley. It started when she cheekily pinched his bum at the VMA awards. Afterwards he made a few jokey comments about her on TV and then dressed up as her for Halloween. So he decided to message her to make sure she wasn’t offended by any of his remarks or actions. She wasn’t – and they’ve been texting ever since,” an insider explained.
Harry Styles Is Pretty Busy At The Moment
Unfortunately, the musician may not have much time to focus on his love life at the moment. Why? Well, for those who missed it, he’s currently gearing up to star in a brand new movie called Don’t Worry Darling alongside Florence Pugh, Chris Pine and Dakota Johnson. But want to know the best part? Drum roll please… Olivia Wilde is directing the movie! Plus, Katie Silberman (who was behind films like Isn’t It Romantic, the Netflix movie Set It Up and more) wrote the screenplay. Wow, talk about a dream team.
Deadline reported that the film “is set in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert.” According to Collider, Pugh will play “an unhappy housewife who slowly begins to question her own sanity when she starts to notice strange occurrences.” As for Pine, he will star as “the leader of a mysterious worksite.” The outlet adds, “All the men are employed just outside of town, and Pine’s character is revered by all of his staffers and their wives, almost in a cult-like fashion.”
Johnson’s character reportedly lives next door to Pugh, and “will begins to exhibit strange, paranoid behavior and tries to warn Pugh that everything in their community is not what it seems.” But what about Styles, you ask? Well, Collider reported that he will play “Pugh’s picture-perfect husband, who loves her dearly, but is hiding a dark secret from her.” Sounds intense!
There’s also rumors that he was cast in the upcoming Marvel movie, The Eternals. Yep, if you search for the flick on Google, the results list Styles (who made his acting debut back in 2017 when he starred in the war movie Dunkirk) as part of the cast. See for yourself:
To make things even more suspicious, fans quickly noticed that the pop star had recently followed some members of the cast —Gemma Chan and Richard Madden – on Instagram.
The movie is going to follow “a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilizations.” And according to reports, the pop star is set to play Starfox, A.K.A. Thanos’ brother. Aside from Styles, Chan and Madden, some other big names have also been cast in the film, including Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Lia McHugh, Don Lee and Barry Keoghan.
That’s not all. According to Deadline, Styles is reportedly being eyed to star in another movie! This one is still untitled, but it’s going to be based off a novel called My Policeman by Bethan Roberts.
“The story takes place in the late 1990s, when the arrival of elderly invalid Patrick into Marion and Tom’s home, triggers the exploration of seismic events from 40 years previous: the passionate relationship between Tom and Patrick at a time when homosexuality was illegal,” the synopsis reads, according to the outlet. Well, despite Styles’ busy schedule, we really hope he and Cyrus actually get in touch because they’d seriously make an icoinc couple!
