What's better than one new animal? Two, obviously. Maybe double the work but also double the fun. The other day, Chelsea Houska from MTV's Teen Mom franchise brought home two furry friends to her home in South Dakota which she shares with her husband, Cole DeBoer. The couple purchased their $750k farmhouse back in December 2020 and have been sharing their journey of settling in ever since.
Making Home In The Countryside
Construction on the couple's home finished in December 2020. The extravagant farmhouse cost them a whopping $750k and is located in South Dakota. Back in April, they showed off the backyard of their rural centered home with wild deer lingering around the grass.
Ever since moving in the Teen Mom stars have shown off bits and pieces of their home, mostly of their organization process.
A few days ago Chelsea gave a look into her closet after revamping the space with some organization. Her glittery boots were lined up neatly on the shelves, her jeans were color coordinated and neatly folded on the shelves, while her tops, dresses, and knits were hung up. And, her fedoras were stacked on top of each other on a top shelf.
Professional organizers from Orderly Elegance shared their process on Instagram with a caption, "We started by pulling out all of their items, placing them on racks to be visible & categorized them by season." They continued, "We then had them walk through & decide whether they want to keep or donate. Organizing by season helps reduce the amount of items in your closet at a time & keeps it functional. We placed all summer items upstairs in their closet and items not in season were placed downstairs."
Earlier this month the couple also showed off their pantry after giving it a makeover as well. Cole shared a video of the finished space which had chic wicker baskets, a wine shelf, and sleek black containers. On the shelves were perfectly organized tins, cans, and jars, with cereal and chips placed in Tupperware containers.
Adding New Members To The Family
Last week Cole shared a fun surprise on his Instagram of two new furry friends. The photo was captioned, "when the trailer pulls up with a surprise from my wife!!"
The father of three unloaded two Alpacas from a trailer who looked almost identical to each other besides the color of their fur. Alongside him was their three-year-old daughter, Layne.
Layne laughed in excitement as they welcomed their fluffy friends to their new home. Chelsea also shared the news to Instagram with a caption, "New DeBoer family members."
