Teen Mom couple, Leah Messer and Jaylan Mobley, have been looking happily in love. Back in September, Messer revealed to Entertainment Tonight that her new man had met her kids. She shared, "Jaylan and the girls just recently met, and they connected so well that it initially scared me, but I want me, girls, to see who is making their mama smile. I'm happy they got to meet him and love him." An insider also told E!, "Leah is excited about becoming exclusive with Jaylan, and they both are enjoying their time with each other. While she has been nervous in the past about introducing someone new to the girls. the meeting went really well."
And with all of the love in the air how could anything ever go wrong, right? Well, fans have begun to speculate about big news for the couple but also a little trouble in love.
Checking Every Box So Why The Hesitation?
In her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Messer admitted to her new beau checking every box for her type of man. "When Jaylan started checking all the boxes and characteristics that I had been looking for in a partner, I won't even lie, I was taken back. He's so compassionate, caring, patient, kind, thoughtful, has a great sense of humor, is adventurous, and LOVES kids. I swore he wasn't real," said Messer.
So, where's the issue?
During Teen Mom Family Reunion Messer opened up to her co-star Ashley Jones. She shared, "Jaylan is really great guy. And he's cool, he's so kind. He's very career-driven. He has his long-term goals, his short-term goals. He's very intelligent. Thoughtful. Compassionate."
Okay, so, where's but 'but..'?
The reality TV star admitted to her hesitation in believing that it's all genuine. "I don't think that I don't deserve it, but I also think I'm a little bit, "is this real?" Are you really compassionate? Are you really caring? Are you going to stay this way? Because what happens if you don't?," admitted Messer. And unfortunately that wasn't all she was worried about.
The most recent episode of Teen Mom revealed another issue between the couple. Long-distance. Mobley moved from Georgia, where he previously worked, to West Virginia to be closer to Messer. However, they were still separated by a two-hour trip. Mobley told Messer, "It's eight hours versus two hours. Georgia is out of reach babe." And, Messer's response wasn't as celebratory as he hoped. She expressed, "I think long-distance is long-distance any way you look at it. It's not like you can just go on a date."
Buying Into A Better Situation
Amid the couple long-distance worries, they are doing fine. You know why? Because they are no longer doing long-distance. The couple announced on Instagram that they purchased a new home in Charleston, West Virginia.
Jaylan shared the news on Instagram, captioning a photo of them in front of their new home. He wrote, "Proud to be a First Time Home Owner! I am so thankful and blessed and still speechless to own this home" He continued, "Suprise! @leahmesser I'm proud of you for selling your first home and so I wanted to surprise you with a new home, our home. We deserve this! You deserve this! I can't wait to build, grow, and create generational wealth, legacy, and opportunities for us and our families. This is to the next chapter and really leveling up."
In Touch Weekly did confirm, however, that Mobley is the official homeowner and that Messer's name is not on the deed. And, this isn't the only news right now. Fans have been speculating about another new addition to their relationship.
Every Home Needs A Family
The Teen Mom star has been doing her best to lay low lately but, a recent photo of her caught the eyes of a lot of fans who are speculating a potential pregnancy. Her most recent New Year's update led fans to believe that her and Mobley were hinting at a expecting.
One fan quickly wrote, "OMG!!!! Is she pregnant" Another chimed in with, "Looks like a baby bump" And, a third commented, "She does look pregnant and he has his hand on her tummy in one of the pictures."
Although, others were just a quick to comment section to shut them down.
One wrote,"Why must people assume that a woman is pregnant if she carries some weight in her stomach" While another pointed out, "She's naturally slim so a big meal is going to give her a bit of a tum" And a third person added, "Plus, she's been having champagne so that causes bloating too."
