Get ready, you guys, because there’s a lot to look forward to in 2021! Yep, so many of our favorite artists are gearing up to release new music this year, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. From Demi Lovato to Justin Bieber, here’s all the albums we have to look forward to in 2021…

Demi Lovato

After months of anticipation, Lovato confirmed that she’s going to release her new music sometime in 2021, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

“The tea is … I am releasing an album and a documentary next year,” the brunette beauty said during an appearance on the “(Re)Session” podcast in December 2020. “I’ve been working on this album since 2018 and my life has taken so many twists and turns since then, and it’s changed the direction, the sound, the story … I’m really excited to release all of this new music.”

Justin Bieber

As fans know, Bieber just released an album, called Changes, in February 2020. But get this — he’s already working on his next LP! He told his fans during an Instagram Live, “I’m going to make another [album] while I’m in quarantine. There’s nothing else to do. I will.” Plus, in July 2020, his manager, Scooter Braun, teased his upcoming tunes on Twitter.

“Maybe a new album @JustinBieber?” he wrote.

The Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers actually confirmed that their next album was ready in February 2020, but they decided to post pone it because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Louis Tomlinson

Louis Tomlinson first confirmed that he was working on new music in May 2020.

“I’m doing good. Tried to be more creative these last few weeks,” he wrote to a fan on Twitter.

Then, in October 2020, he gave us a much-needed update!

“Wrote four songs in  four days. It’s cooking,” the One Direction member shared. And when a fan asked what exactly was “cooking,” he explained, “Banger after banger.”

Then, when a fan asked the star when we could expect the new music to drop, he said it will probably come out in 2021!

But what will his new album sound like, you ask? While chatting with Telegraph in a recent interview, the “Walls” crooner said that fans can expect it to be a lot like his hit song “Kill My Mind.”

“There’s a certain energy in that song, in its delivery, in its attitude, that I want to recreate,” he explained. “People are struggling at the moment, so I want to create a raucous, exciting atmosphere in my live show, not a somber, thoughtful one. I’m very, very excited. I had basically penciled down a plan before corona took over our lives. And now it’s kind of given me a little bit of time to really get into what I want to say and what I want things to sound like.”

Zayn Malik

Zayn Malik has shared numerous pictures from the studio, leading many fans to believe that he has a new album coming in 2021! And back in September 2020, he wrote on Instagram, “Got some stuff to show ya soon!”

As for his and Tomlinson’s other 1D bandmates, you can expect some new tunes from them too! When asked if he had any plans to drop a new album next year, Niall Horan told Today FM in December 2020 that he had been working on some music lately, but that he wasn’t satisfied with it yet. But he added that if he did make a song he loved, he would definitely release it.

“I suppose, if I come across something good I’d, obviously, I like to get it out,” he shared.

He also told Express in November 2020, “I’d like to release stuff next year, I doubt it would be this year, and just kind of writing some bits getting in the studio when I can here.”

As for Harry Styles, he said he had plans to get back in the studio while accepting Variety‘s Hitmaker of the Year Award in December 2020. Liam Payne also told fans during an Instagram Live in the same month that he is going “return with new music later in 2021.”

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift may have just released a new album in December 2020, but many fans are convinced she’s got another LP secretly in the works. Yep, at the end of her album announcement, she wrote, “And it may continue, evermore.” OMG.

Plus, fans were also quick to notice that the “Lover” songstress released three matching sweaters in three different colors — one in black and white, which went with Folklore‘s album cover, one in red and white, which went with Evermore‘s album cover, and one in green and white, leading fans to wonder if it’ll go with her next album cover. We guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish‘s second studio album is almost here! Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an official release date just yet, but the singer did reveal during a recent interview that it’s going to be “completely different” from the music we’re used to from her. The musician explained that because of the coronavirus quarantine, it changed many things about the music and its sound.

“I mean, we would have made something, but it would have been completely different [if we weren’t in quarantine]. It’s not like we’re making songs about quarantine, we’re just in a different mindset than we would be otherwise,” she explained. “And that’s just how everything is. It’s the butterfly effect. It’s like if you hadn’t done this three years ago, maybe you wouldn’t be doing this three years later. It’s just the way that it is. At the same time, this is the most time off I’ve ever had in my life, first of all. And especially since this all started like five years ago. So it’s been a blessing, huge blessing and a curse, but I’m really, really happy that we’ve been able to make the things that we’re making. And I can’t wait for you to hear this s**t. I can’t wait to have the world hear. I’m very excited and hopeful for the future.”

Camila Cabello

Camila Cabello revealed via Instagram in August 2020, that she was working on her new music!

“Sending so much love to everyone. Been writing a lot of new music and it’s coming from a really pure place,” she wrote. “Reminding myself everyday that life is now; and not in yesterday or tomorrow. let’s be extra gentle, soft, and kind to ourselves and others today.”

Rihanna

Rihanna opened up about her upcoming album while speaking to Vogue in March 2020.

“I can’t say when I’m going to drop, but I am very aggressively working on music,” she said. “I don’t want my albums to feel like themes. There are no rules. There’s no format. There’s just good music, and if I feel it, I’m putting it out. I feel like I have no boundaries. I’ve done everything – I’ve done all the hits, I’ve tried every genre – now I’m just, I’m wide open. I can make anything that I want.”

The singer also told Entertainment Tonight, “I am always working on music. I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out. And you’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it. I’m not just gonna put it out just because people are waiting. It’s taken this long, I’m gonna make it worth it.”

Adele

Although Adele commented on Instagram that she had “no idea” when he new music was going to come out, a source recently told People Magazine, “She is definitely getting ready both mentally and physically to promote new music. It seems it will happen later this year. She talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy. You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans.”

Why Don’t We

Why Don’t We’s new album, The Good Times and the Bad Ones, is coming out on January 15, 2021! And get this — they wrote all the songs themselves.

“Writing and co-producing our own music has been one of the most rewarding experiences for us,” Corbyn Besson said in a statement. “In the past four years we’ve become confident enough to reinvent ourselves, becoming the band we always hoped to be.”

Daniel Seavey added, It was time to do this ourselves. These are our ideas, melodies, and thoughts.”

Drake

Drake‘s upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy, is set to come out sometime in January 2021! The rapper’s longtime producer, Noah ‘40’ Shebib, teased the new tunes during a November 2020 interview.

“How many different types of fans does he have? How many songs is he going to give you of each type, so that you’re satisfied with this offering? He’s trying to deliver for a lot of different people.” he said. “I think that’s the predicament we find ourselves in, which is trying to make music for everyone and to make sure all the different types of fans are satisfied.”
