Nick Cannon's Restaurant is Wild 'N Out with New San Diego Location

Everything Nick Cannon touches turns to gold. Ever since his breakout days in the ’90’s on Nickelodeon, Cannon’s name has been Hollywood royalty. From comedy bits on Nickelodeon to running his own improv show – the wildly popular Wild N’ Out – Cannon has been at the top of his game. Now, Cannon is bringing his own restaurant concept to a new location in San Diego, and visitors can expect more than just excellent food.

Wild N’ Out in San Diego

Nick Cannon

Although people think Nick Cannon and comedy comes to mind, soon you might think first of food. A restaurant concept crafted by the comedian/producer, Wild N’ Out combines a classic American cuisine with an arcade and bar, your all-in-one stop for everything that makes American entertainment some of the best in the world.

On Friday February 25, a new Wild N’ Out opens in the heart of San Diego; a two-story, 3,500 square foot entertainment experience. This indoor/outdoor space will offer arcade games, virtual reality experiences, video games and dozens of televisions so no matter what game you’re watching, you won’t have to miss any action.

Pop artist Rob Prior was brought in to paint murals throughout the space, with homages to some of hip-hops greatest legends. And when visiting Wild N’ Out, customers can expect regular DJ and comedy performances – of course – as well as surprise appearances by Cannon himself and other members of the Wild N’ Out MTV crew.

It all starts February 25 with a grand opening hosted by Cannon and his pals at 701 6th Ave. WNO Arcade and Bar will be open on Monday – Thursday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.

If it sounds like Wild N’ Out is more than just a place to have some great food, that’s because it is – much more. At Wild N’ Out, Cannon wants customers to experience a full range of dining and entertainment delights, and he’s bringing all of his hospitality talent and charm to bear for this new location.

The new restaurant seats 40, so make sure to plan ahead if you don’t want to find the restaurant at capacity. Themed nights keep things interesting, including Industry Monday where guests who work in hospitality can play arcade games for three and receive a 50% discount on drinks. For Hip Hop History Wednesday, customers will hear hip-hop from a life DJ and enjoy 50% off small bucket appetizers. And after dinner, the entire venue transforms into a nightlife experience with music and drinks galore.

The menu is itself an experience, blending American classics with new flair. Brunch options include Pulled Pork Carnitas Hush and a delightful Churro Waffle Stick. And the standard all-day menu includes WNO Fried Chicken Sandwich, Traditional Lobster Rolls, and Spicy Lobster Rolls. Guests can also choose from Popcorn Shrimp dusted with Old Bay Seasoning, lemon, and tartar sauce; Skirt Steak & Potatoes; Baby Back Ribs & Wings; and the Skirt Steak & Shrimp featuring a sizzling 8-ounce skirt steak and shrimp scampi. The brand-new menu also includes shareable dishes and bucket meals like Chicken Fingers and Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower, seafood favorites for two to four guests, along with a variety of salads and appetizers. For dessert, guests can pick from classic options like Oreos Cookies & Cream Pie drizzled with chocolate sauce, Oreo crumble and whipped cream.

With tons of boozy options to add as the cherry on top of your dinner favorites, Wild N’ Out offers a night you won’t forget.

And speaking of Wild N’ Out – the comedy show, not the food – this year it’s on tour again and bringing fun to people across the country. And this June, WNO is bringing something special to New Jersey: a pool party.

City Elite has announced that they’re holding a Wild ‘N Out pool party hosted by Cannon and the MTV crew, and it’s coming to the DreamWorks Water Park. DigitalJournal reports, “‘This will be one of the biggest pool parties and in a broader sense, event in New Jersey,’ affirmed Nick Cannon. ‘Several of the celebrities that would be at the event are popular names we see on TV and on stages. We are creating a window, a chance to come party with these celebs and enjoy personal moments with them in what is the biggest indoor water park and wave pool in America.’”

Dj D Wrek, Dj True Blends, Hot 97 Dj Wallah, and Dj Yung B will man the deck for the event, and guests can expect an immersive experience like no other. For more information on how to attend this fun and funny day in the sun – visit the website.

While you’re waiting for that East Coast bash, plan on heading West and enjoying WNO in San Diego – it’s all the fun of a sports bar and arcade, with the quality entertainment and cuisine you’ve come to expect from Cannon’s brand.
