Nicki Minaj Comes Out Swinging at Megan in Vicious New Single: ‘I Don’t F with Horses’

The feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion has always been a quiet affair.
At least, when you compare it to the famously volatile beef between Nicki and Cardi B.
But it would appear that Minaj is done playing nice, and threw down viciously with two specific lines in her new single titled “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.”

Is ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze’ About Megan?
The big question first: is Minaj’s new single, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” even about Megan?
And the answer – like most things with Minaj – is complicated.
But it seems likely, considering the context clues sprinkled throughout the song.
The song opens with, “Only on ’em C’s if it’s breeze, Red Ruby Da Sleeze (Uh-oh, uh-oh)
Chinese on my sleeve, these wannabe Chun-Lis
Anyway, nǐ hǎo (Nǐ Hǎo, uh-oh)
Who the f–k told b—hes they was me now? (Uh-oh, ooh)
I knew these b—hes was slow, I ain’t know these b—hes senile (Ooh)
Married a shooter case you n—-s tried to breathe loud (Brr-brr)
Boom your face off, then I tell him, ‘Cease fire’.”
But then she throws down the first glove, with the song continuing, “I’m the AB side
Seven-hundred on ’em horses when we fixin’ to leave (Uh-oh)
But I don’t f–k with horses since Christopher Reeves (Uh-oh).”
And in case you weren’t entirely sure if it was a stab at Megan (who was born the same year Reeves was paralyzed by falling off a horse) or Reeves, another line will put that question to rest.
Later, Minaj sings, “That .40 cal a make ’em dance like a go-go.”
Remember – Tory Lanez shot at Megan’s feet in 2020 after the couple got into an argument. Lanez was found guilty of three felonies from the incident.
Those include assault with a semiautomatic firearm, discharging a firearm with gross negligence and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He will be sentenced April 10.
Why the Beef, Nicki?

But why is Nicki so mad? What did Megan do?
It all comes back to the Cardi B effect.
Nicki and Megan worked together in 2019 to release “Hot Girl Summer.”
InTouch reports, “However, the rappers seemingly had a falling out when Megan worked with Cardi B on ‘WAP’ in 2020. Nicki and Cardi famously don’t get along and often call out each other in their songs.
Many of Nicki’s loyal fans viewed Megan and Cardi working together as a betrayal to the ‘Super Bass’ singer, though Megan implied she should be allowed to work with both women during a 2019 interview with iHeartRadio.
‘I really hate the fact that [people do that]. It’s really like a lot of the fans,’ the Texas native said at the time. ‘They really make it seem like you’re picking sides. I really, really, really like both of them. They’re two different people, two different rappers. It’s not even the same. I feel like we need to stop trying to compare them.’”
It would seem that Nicki decided Megan’s bothsidesmanship wasn’t working for her anymore, and pulled out all the stops.
